Hair and make-up for bridal party?

I found a makeup artist/hair stylist that work together as a team and will come to where we are getting ready. For hair and makeup for everyone, it comes out to about $150 per person. How much would it be fair to ask the bridesmaids to pay (keeping in mind that I bought their dresses for them and they are wearing shoes they already have)? Thanks!Hair and make-up for bridal party?
i would agree that $150 is a lot of money. remember that that doesn't include tips for the stylists. try to find a salon with a cheaper price and offer them both up as options.

it would be nice to have everyone get ready together but you don't want to make anyone feel left out if they can't afford it.Hair and make-up for bridal party?
Since you paid for their dresses then they can pay for the hair and makeup. I think that is a little high for hair and makeup but I don't know where you are and that could be a factor. My girls are paying $150 and that includes hair, makeup, mani and pedi but we are going into the salon that day. If the girls plan on having manis and pedis then maybe you could pay for this if it would be too expensive for all of them with the cost of the hair and make up. I wouldn't mind paying it for a friend's wedding , but you know your friends best. Maybe ask them all how they feel about the cost. If one of them can't pay the full amount just pick up the rest of it for her.
You have no obligation to pay for it at all for your bridal party, so you can offer this service and mention the price and everyone can decide for themselves if they want to pay for it themselves. Otherwise, some people would want to do their own hair and makeup.
If you bought their dresses then split the cost between them evenly. I think they will understand since you paid for their dresses. You can be surprised how low the cost gets once it is divided (unless you only have like 3 girls... Lol).

I'm in my sister's wedding, her and her fiance are super rich (I'm not) and she's not paying for a dime of anything for us. So good for you. You're a great person for doing that :)
I don't think they should ';have'; to use her services. I would tell them that they are available and if they would like to participate that it costs $150. That's a lot of money, even if you paid for their dresses, to spend on hair and makeup when you are only a bridesmaid.
