Make up tips to make small eyes look bigger?

try using a medium colored eyeliner. I don't know what skin tone you have so I can't say. But let's pretend you are fair skinned. Try a light plum or mocha brown color. Dark eyeliners wiegh your eyes down and can make them look smaller. And use pencil. You can blend this better and it is easier to control Do a light (heavy lines again can seem smaller) line on the top of your lids and a light line along the bottom HALF of your lower lids. At the corner of your eye sweep a narrow line upward. (I'm not talking cat eyes here, just a small upward lift to widen and elongate your eyes) Again, not knowing your skin tone I have to pretend with colors. Assuming you are fair skinned try a peach color or a light rose on your lids. Sweep gently across to the outside. (Not shimmer. Shimmer on your lids looks childish) Use a light tan or light gold (again no shimmer) in the crease. Try to keep in compliment to the color you have chose for your lids. You can use this same color underneath your lids to add a touch of drama and finish the incomplete eyeliner line. Make sure to blend all this. You don't want your eyes looking painted. YOu just want them bigger. Finally you can use a shimmer on the brow bones. Sweep the brush upward toward the brow. And go easy on it. shimmer can be a dangerous thing. Choose a light colored mascara. If you are a blonde or red head you don't need black mascara. Again, too heavy. Do a light coat of mascara as you would normally. Let that dry completely. For your second coat hold the brush vertically against your eye and GENTLY sweep sideways. This pulls your lashes out and widens your eyes. Also, if you want, you can curl your lashes beforehand. Choose a nice volumizing mascara for best results. You can brighten all the colors for a more evening drama look. (Don't darken. Darkening can make your eyes smaller.)Make up tips to make small eyes look bigger?
I have big eyes and i do make up with a liquid eyeliner all around my eyes to make them look Smaller! So i would say you do the opposite, only use a volumizer mascara and curl your eyelashes. Then if you want put a top eyeliner only half way of your eye. THis should help you outMake up tips to make small eyes look bigger?
If you have light colored eyes you could try a darker eyeshadow too.
Apply a white eyeliner around your eyes and then a black eyeliner around the white line-
eyeliner just on top of lids
Wear some eyeliner around your eyes.

Nate
Eyeliner arpund the eyes will close them up. That is not good advice. You should wear a little eyeliner on the outside of the eye and go aboput halfway under the eye. You want to use a light color eyeshadow from the middle of the lid and continue to the inside of the eye. Put a darker colr shadow on the outside between the lid and the brow bone. Try only mascara on the top.
They are saying eyeliner around your eyes? NO NO, only wear eyeliner on the top. Curl your lashes and then put mascara only on the top.
When using eyeliner/mascara go from outside in but stop at the middle of the eye.... so youre stopping above and below the pupil. (Big eyes should go all the way around) Go to www.marykay.com/jaimebryant for picture tips on how to apply eye makeup for particular eye types.
eyeliner around the eyes
Curl your lashes to really open up your eyes, and focus on lining the TOP. If you line all the way around it encloses your eye and it will look smaller.
They say to use an eyeshadow or eyeliner the same color as your eyes and apply by the lash line to your lower and upper lids and use a q-tip or your finger to give the smudge look after applying. It should make your eyes look wider.
put eyeliner on the top of the eye only and dont use kohl pencil

My eyes are hazel, any make-up tips?

My skin is a little tan from the summer and i dont have freckles. My eyes are hazel, any make-up tips?
I also have hazel- green eyes.

To pop the green in my eyes

and make them look lighter i use

a light gold on my lids, then

a dark green in my crease and a plum in my outer corner.

    Plum contrasts with the green,

while the dark green brings out the green.

It works wonders. (;My eyes are hazel, any make-up tips?
Definitely use Bronzy colored eye shadows. Try A sparkly gold, and shimmery browns, greens, and purples. I fyou want your eyes to stand our use both an eye shadow and a dark eye liner try brown instead of black--black would be too harsh. Also curl your eye lashes and then use a lot of black mascara. hope I helped.
try golds, greens, and purples preferably darker shades with eye liner a little smugged and curled eyelashes with 2 coats of mascara then brushed through w/ and eyebrow comb. Purples give a more dramatic look and greens and golds are more natural.
use teal or gold shimmery shadow (:

or a black/brown mascara and eyeliner.

use a light pink shimmer blush

    xoxo hope i helped (:
A bright aqua type blue is beautiful when used as a liner!
brown or bronze eyeshadow blended with a thin black liner n black mascara..otherwise stay natural

if you have blue or green eyes, you should wear brown eye shadow. nothing to heavy though. since your eyes aren't a neutral, putting a neutral with them makes them really pop! :)

and i don't think you have to dye your hair because when you picture it in your head sometimes it doesn't always look good, but when you put the dress on you'll look fabulous!

well if you're tan brown hair would for sure look better with a yellow dress. and just play around with different eye shadow colors until you find you like.

Anyone got any quick tips make up tips for hiding dark rings under my eyes and a spot on my chin?

I have a hot date 2moro night and its sods law a spot has appeared. I have pale-ish skin and brunette hair so I already look washed out. Help!Anyone got any quick tips make up tips for hiding dark rings under my eyes and a spot on my chin?
I use an under-eye concealer by Cover Girl. There's probably better ones but this one works well enough for me. I first put on my regular foundation, then apply the under-eye concealer both under my eyes and on any blemishes (works like a charm!). It's thicker than regular foundation, and the one I use comes in a tube with an applicator stick. I apply it somewhat thickly with the applicator, then dab it with my finger to blend. Then I apply powder over my whole face to take away any shine and it also helps to even out the color of the liquid foundation and under-eye concealer.Anyone got any quick tips make up tips for hiding dark rings under my eyes and a spot on my chin?
coverstick or concealer, he might have some spots too so dont stress too much!
I`m pale AND USE BOURJOIS CONCEALER . in my opinion gives better results than other much more expensive concealers. ';d';un coup de pinceau'; ecalat beige clair.
get a good nights sleep, and lay off the wacky baccy?
I use Benefit Bo-ing, its bloody fantastic, it even mentions that it is industrial strength on the packaging! Its 拢15.50 and you can buy it in any Debenhams or House Of Fraser or even Boots. Good luck with ur date!
For the rings under the eyes - YSL Touche Eclat. It's about 拢22, so not cheap, but is worth every penny! I've got pale skin and brunette hair and it's brilliant.
Use some good concealer. And a good cover up foundation.
Hiya - the best tip I can give you. I was suffering from heavy bags under my eyes. I have now adpted a new regime of drinking 2 ltr of water everyday. Woow big results. The only time I have dark circles under my eyes now is when I havent drunk enough water.

A ggo conceller and blush on the cheeks usually help my overall appearance

    have a good time
Use a cream concealer or foundation lighter than your skin tone for under your eyes and blend in. A dab of witch hazel is great for getting rid of spots quickly, but don't apply on broken skin! Add some rose blusher, (just a touch) to brighten up your complexion.
I'm a big fan of Touche Eclat. It is expensive but it lasts a long time. Great for dark circles, spots, any kind of blemish. Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream is brilliant for calming down an angry spot.
the body shops lightening touch - same thing as ysl touche eclat- but cheaper, great for lightening dark areas around the eye and contains light reflecting particles - so helps disguise the appearance of spots - use ontop of foundation then dust over with powder - use lip brush to apply - never rub in just dab/pat in especially around the eye area. dont stress too much in the future!!! hope this helps.
Use an oragnish color under the eye, then foundation over that. The orange will nuetralize the dark. I read that in a magazine from a person who did eyes for Uma Thurman...he said she had big dark circles and that was the only thing he could do to minimize them....It worked for me.
Dermablend...it's incredible..you can get it at a beauty counter like Macy's or Sears...but I bought mine for the same price at Amazon.com....this stuff is amazing...all you need to do is tap the pad of your finger on the top...apply by tapping, and then I put a little colored powder over it...This can be used on tattoos to hide them, burns, scars...It was about $35 but it will last for the rest of my life...my friend has had hers for 5 years, and she probably has another 2 years left!
Really good concealer and then put pressed powder all over your face to cover the concealer. Make sure you don't use too much though, you don't want to look fake...

Purples and lavendars or golds and browns, whichever combo suits your skin tone.
Moss or Sage Green eyeliner with a bit of green eyeshadow. Wearing Green helps. If you are wearing black, wear black eyeliner, lots of mascara and a bit of green eyeshadow.

Black eyeliner and wearing green clothing help. Almay has a special eyeshadow for green eyes but i don't recommend it. I would use light eyeshadow even like a skin tone or light color. Purples are supposed to work but i haven't tried them.
    A good brown liner and/or violet/lavender shadows.
If you want to bring out your green eyes, putting green on them wont be the best way to achieve this. When you apply the opposite colour to green as an eyeshadow (red), this will make your colour jump out. This is not to say you should wear red eyeshadow, not the best natural look. All you need to do is make sure that when you want this look, the eyeshadows you use all have a red/pink/warm undertone. That is, when you look at the colour on your skin, does it play up a redish, warmish tone. If so, it will help your eyes look greener. Anything will a cool (think blues, greens, silvers) undertone will not complement the desired look.

yes ,you should use mascara..and a Gothic look would probably suite the eyes you have got..with a dark eye shadow..avoid using light eye shadow..it wont glow with the color of yr eye..n a thick line of Kohl would make you look all chic ! but there are a few side effects to this... make sure you wash your eye make up thoroughly using a make up remover before sleep..don't sleep with yr make up on..it will result in bad skin.. and for avoiding dark circles..have good sleep ..n drink a lot of water..toodles !
You should get plenty of sleep every night to get rid of your dark circles, at least 8 hours. Dot concealer under your eye and blend in using your middle finger to make them appear lighter.

Use a eyelash curler and plenty of a good mascara to lengthen your eyelashes, this will also open up your eyes making them look bigger.

    If you have Green Eyes:

Green eyes can use similar shades that brown and hazel eyes use since flecks of green are found in both hazel and brown eyes. Shades of green can be used on green eyes as long as it is not an electric or bright shade of green, causing an unnatural look against the true color of the green eye. Best bets for green eyes include mocha and lavender. The lavender contrasts with the green, making your eyes more intense and dramatic. The warmer mocha color gives a natural look to compliment green eyes. For a hip look try light green and bright purple to give a finishing, modern look.

    If you have Brown Eyes:

Since brown eyes have flecks of green, gold, copper and brown, the most flattering colors will be any colors within these families. People with brown or hazel eyes can wear almost any shade of eye shadow as long as it鈥檚 applied and blended correctly! Best bets for brown eyes include gold, green, bronze and copper. Other flattering shades include champagne (a bit of apricot with a soft pink), beige, khaki-green (the lighter shade adds highlight to enhance the green and brown flecks) and brown for a doe-eyed look. Hip favorites include hot pink, tangerine, royal blue and lime green (again, the contrast gives brown eyes a kick).

    If you have Hazel Eyes:

As mentioned, hazel eyes can follow the same color choices for brown and green eyes. Best bets for hazel eyes are apricot, brown, pale yellow and dark green. Hip favorites include lime-green and gold to give an ultra modern look, enhancing the tiny brown and green flecks in hazel eyes.

Save bolder, brighter colours for night time to give your eyes a kick and make them look different to as you are at day.
yes definitely use black mascara, lengthening preferably.

for your circles try a concealer and get more sleep!

eyeshadow colors: for a natural look stick to dark greens, browns, taupes, ivories, and gray.

for a more dramatic look try bright emerald, blue, purple, and even orange.
Think autumn when looking for eyeshadow colors. You know brown, olive green, lime green, sage green, etc. With using mascara, stick with brown or dark brown, don't use black.

Make up tips for blonde haired, blue eyed girl who knows NOTHING about make up?

Can anyone tell my what colors of make up, what kinds to use or even how to apply it. I have lite to medium long blonde hair bluish gray eyes and a round face, I'm 19 yrs old and never wore make up in my life, Please help if you canMake up tips for blonde haired, blue eyed girl who knows NOTHING about make up?
For your skin type and eye/hair color, you can either go light and natural or dark and dramatic. Both will work fine. Since I don't know your clothing style (it DOES makes a difference), I will describe both.

    Natural

    1. Mascara - dark brown, but no black. Place the brush in the center of your lash line and blink down on the applicator three times. Place the brush on the outside corner of your eye and blink down three times. Any more than this and your lashes will look too clumpy or too unnatural.

    2. Liner - peach and medium brown. Use a pencil liner, as they are easier for beginners and look softer. Apply the brown just above the upper lash line on the outside half of your eye. Apply the peach eyeliner to the inside corner of your eye. This will brighten up your face, drawing attention to the center.

    3. Blush - go with a very light powder blush, or none at all. A soft rosy color is good. Take a brush and swirl it gently in the blush. Tap it against the side to remove excess - you don't want to look like a clown. Smile so you give yourself ';chipmunk cheeks';, and swirl the brush onto the fattest part. Be very careful with blush, though, as newcomers can often overdo it.

    4. Foundation/Powder - since I don't know your skin type, I'd say to play it safe and go with just a powder the color of your skin tone. Dust it evenly over your face and onto your neck with a brush. Even better, go with a simple tinted moisturizer if you have relatively blemish-free skin.

    5. Lips - you should probably stick to a clear or light lip gloss, preferably very sheer. It polishes off a look and makes your lips ';kissable';, but is very easy, especially for newbies. Stay away from sticky stuff! Goopy lips are NOT attractive.

    6. Shadow - go simple here. Pick a tannish color for your lid, and apply a lighter color above the crease.

These should suit you fine for now, and work well with casual and business outfits.

    Dramatic

Blush and foundation/powder remain the same.

    1. Mascara - use black, and apply it thicker.

    2. Liner - Use black liquid, and line the top lid from the center to the outside, thicker towards the end.

    3. Shadow - use turquoises, purples, emeralds, and sapphires. For application, check here:http://beauty.about.com/od/allaboutyoure鈥?/a>

    4. Lips - use lipstick. If your eyes are darker, use lighter lipstick. If your eyes are lighter, go with a cool, dramatic red.

This look is for when you want to be bold and dramatic, such as at a dance.

Hope that helps! :)Make up tips for blonde haired, blue eyed girl who knows NOTHING about make up?
i know exactly what you mean!

when i first started wearing it,

i didn't know what to do!

alright, here's some good colors for you:

    light blue

    purple/magenta

    lime green

    teal-ish colors

    maybe orange...?

to start off, you're gonna need foundation

[i would suggest that matte mousse stuff,

it works really well...find your skin color

and only put a little on your whole face]

    bronzer/blush,

    [smile when you apply it--

it helps you find the apples of your cheeks.]

eyeliner in blues, browns, greens and blacks,

[and colored if you're really wild]

[line the lower lid, and upper if you want

but don't go all the way to the inside of the eye..

you don't want to get ';eye boogers'; haah]

    eyeshadow

[get a package with several colors for some variety.

use the little brush to swipe over your lid...

    not too much!]

    and mascara

[run over your eyelashes, top and bottom if you want,

and coat them again if you didn't get enough].

and you can't forget lip gloss.

    victoria's secret is AWESOME

    but loreal will work too.

you can find all of this for pretty cheap at walgreens or cvs.

    good luck!
it would depend on the occasion, your best bet it to go the a major store like Macy's or J C Penny's as they have trained personal in their make-up department that can advise you as to what, when and how to apply.
wow. i would not like to be you right now. id be scared.

the ABSOLUTE best thing you can do is go and see a beauty consultant. theyll pick some good things for you to wear and show you how to apply them and then you can just do what they said until you feel more comfortable trying things on your own later.

what you should avoid is going out and buying a stack of stuff you dont even know looks good on you and putting it on badly. start off with simple, basic stuff in natural shades and use it minimally. work up to brighter colours and more dramatic effects as you gain confidence.
If you are able, ';Estee Lauder'; has make-overs.

Because you are 19 it is a good time to learn about taking care of your skin. Make-up should enhance your good features.

This could be a fun day for you and your mom. Speak to her about this if you have a good relationship with her. Sometimes sales women can sell you things you do not need.

The important thing is to wash your face and neck in the morning and at night with an antiseptic soap and believe it or not, yes your ears and behind your ears, moisturize you face and neck with a good moisturizer and if your skin is sensitive to the sun, make sure it has a sun blocker in the moisturizer. Never smoke cigarettes! This will ruin your face as it inhibits oxygen and creates wrinkles, no joke. So will drinking alcoholic beverages. Those two things age women like nothing you have ever seen. Stay away from those to take care of your health.

I might suggest, matching mascara to your eyelashes colour, a little blush, and lipstick. Lipstick is actually to protect lips from too much sun, wind, or cold.

If I had a daughter, we would run right over to the Estee Lauder counter for a make over and then off to lunch.

    I wish you well.
you should try black mascara,a light pink blush, shiny pink but not to pink lipcolor, and a light eyeshadow that matches good with your skin tone.

    hope i helped!Good Luck!:)
Almay ';Bring Out The Blue'; eye makeup... I am a huge fan:

    http://almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyeslips.鈥?/a>

Don't use black eyeliner. It takes away from your pretty blue peepers. Use brown. Sometimes I use dark if I want a dramatic effect. Most often I will use a light, golden brown.

Usually I will wear my eyeliner on the top inner rim and the bottom inner rim of the eye, but not accross the lid. I think it is a more natural look that way. When putting it on top of the lid, I never go too thick.

For shadows, you want gold tones. Yellow is opposite of blue on the color wheel and so it will make blue stand out the most when the two colors are paired.

You can even try enhancing your blue eyes with a bit of blue eyeshadow or some blue mascara. Just be careful because blue eyeshadow can get real trashy real fast.

Since you are just starting out, try getting Almay's Smart Shade foundation. It only comes in three shades: light, medium, and dark. It goes on white and then blends into the color of your skin! It is so amazing, I looove it. It only about ten dollars too, which is relatively cheap for a quality product. If you decide to go for a different foundation, look for an oil-free foundation that will prevent breakouts. Before buying, rub a little on your hand to see if it matches up. If your foundation is too dark you will look like an orange sponge cake. :]

If you have less-than-perfect skin then try a Covergirl concealer underneath your foundation, and L'Oreal true match powder over the top. This will make for an overall flawless look. I usually buy my powder a shade lighter than my foundation, just because for some reason it makes my skin look great.

I really reccommend seeing a Mary Kay consultant or a beauty rep behind the counter of a decent makeup store (Try Sephora or Dillard's). I got started with makeup by having a visit with my mom's friend who was a Mary Kay consultant. She gave me a makeover and then handed me her big fat book of samples and an book of tips and let me go crazy for a week. After that I realized that I knew what I wanted to do with my life. haha.

And lastly... hair is not really my forte, but try this website to find some hairstyles that look good with round faces:

I read in a magazine somewhere that brown or black eyeshadow and brown or purple eyeshadow go best with brown eyes.
for brown eyes, you want to keep to neutral shadows, with dark liner and mascara...

    try this:

find a nice matted pink, nothing with shimmer, subtle, no hot pink or cherry... a pink that's very soft sheer and sublt... brush that over your lid from lash to crease.

fill in the crease of your lid with a brown, light to medium dark, something sheer, stay away from shimmery shadows, they steal attention away from your eye itself...

next find a sand stone color, almost the same shade as your skin, just a little lighter, and fill in your lid from crease to brow...

next line the top and bottom lash lines with a dark brown or black

finish up with a black mascara for added drama..

keep your blush and lipstick light, i'd even go as far as to just brush on some clear gloss on your lips, you want to make your eyes the center of attention, and with softer lips and cheeks the black will really POP!

check out avon's package for brown eyes ($9.99 for 4 color compact, liner and mascara) colors exactly suited to make your eye color really stand out... almay's also got a package like this, just a little more $$

good luck and hope this helps!
Almay has a quad shadow and matching liner and mascara. It is created specifically for each color eyes ii.e. brown, green yadda) Walmart carries it. There is a 'how to' on the back of the package!

    Good Luck!
you can wear any color eyeshadow or eyeliner with brown eyes go to the M.A.C. counter and ask them to do a demo . they will show you what to do .. just don't be afraid of color.
lavender is a great color and so is blue well like a lite blue
You should try goldish brown eyeshadow (I have one by Cover girl its a set of 4 in a pallate) with black eyeliner (the thickness should depend on how big your eyes are. If you wanna pencil the bottom a little it would enhance the brown and make it stand out.

Thats been my best make up ever and looks natural and enhances your eyes.
Green eyeshadow with a little blue up by the brow looks super good on a brow eyed girl. Also wear black mascara lip gloss that is clear and shiny and wear natural blush.
I've got brown eyes. The people at Clinique told me to use a gold/brown eyeshadow.

    Here are the steps:

Brush the Gold Eyeshadow on the full eye lid

Then use the Brown Eyeshadow lightly on the edges of the lid

    (the corner of your eye)

This makes the eyes stand out more. You can also you some black eyeliner %26amp; maskara. It looks very beautiful. Also to let you know I have dark brown skin so it may look different if you are darker or light than I am. Well hope this helps.
I have dark brown eyes. I found purples and browns, especially when applied together, look the best.

I tend to stay away from golden and blue tones, but if you have light brown eyes, they might work for you.

Pinks and greens are fun, but you have to find the right shade to compliment your eyes.
i've heard that the color that brings out brown eyes is purple.
agree with both the ppl, eyeliner looks hot, and golden/yellow eyeshadow looks really cute on brown eyes. Good Luck!
Pinks %26amp; Purples look good with Brown eyes.
black eyeliner is so cute with brown eyes
Green shadow rimmed around the eyes. Blue also looks good, when not overdone.
black eye liner and mascura if you have clear tannish skin you may want to have a fancy pony tail or somthing

i have brown eyes you may want black on it...
black eye liner goes good with brown eyes hey my eyes to they are greenish blueish and Hazel how kool right
Goldish eyeshadow!!! or green perfect basically any nature color
black eye-liner makes ur eyes stand out also light eye-shadow looks good!
Brown or charcoal eyeliner and bronze or golden shades of eyeshadow.
    Pinks make brown eyes pop

Eye make up and foundation tips. PLZ urgent. ten points for best tip?

I have asian eyes and there sorta medium brown colour. I just want tips on how to make them natural and big andpritty. For summer (tips on how to wear it when its all hot and it melts off but still has that fresh, natural summery look) and in winter (tips on how to make it warm and cute and nice) ten points for the best tip !! and if it works to !! and it stays on for the whole dayyy ! howw ??? And any brand suggestions ?

Also i didnt get a chance to get a nice tan this summer and i have no clue how to make your skin look gorgeous with a bit of bronzer and foundation. i have sorta medium toned skin colour. any suggestions or help for a first timer ?

thank youuuuu :)Eye make up and foundation tips. PLZ urgent. ten points for best tip?
Hi to enhance your eyes it depends on your whole look but for example a brown shade can really enhance your eyes but keepk them natural and shiny.Using a brown eyeliner very thinly on the top lid and only lining the bottom lash until the line meets the pupil, as this makes the eye look larger. If you use the eyeliner all along the bottom rim, it can make the eye look smaller.

To ensure your make up does not melt off try a long lasting foundation from Estee Lauder called Daywar as this lasts for up to twelve hours and does not transfer onto clothes.Add a little lip gloss and a clean look for the summer.Mascara is a must.

To enhance your look in winter, wear rich berry shades on your lips.A beautiful green on the corners of the eye can enhance the eye and give you some colour.Blue shades can also look amazing on brown eyes.

To make your skin look golden you could invest in St Tropez face tanner which is fantastic. Or if you prefer to se bronzer, suck your cheeks in and lightly add bronzer to the apples of our cheeks.Add small amounts to avoid puting too much on.If you do add too much apply pressed powder to your face.

Good luck.Eye make up and foundation tips. PLZ urgent. ten points for best tip?
To differentiate between your summer and winter make up I would change the other aspects of your make up, not really your eyes although you can make them slightly darker in winter, maybe with a liquid liner. Asian eyes look gorgeous really dark so i would use a black kohl eyeliner slightly smudged around the eye for a slightly smokey look. I would then maybe use a lightly shimmery gold eyeshadow to keep your eyes looking big and fresh. In summer use bronzer and in winter blusher. If you want your eyes to look really big use a good mascara and curl your eyelashed.
I think it would look really pretty to use like a white shimmery dust on your lids as well as some smudged/smokey liner just to make them pop a bit.

MAKE-UP tips!!!! i need help applying and choosing colors that makes my eye color POP!!?

I have taken the advice from the people who previously answered my question about make-up. I have bought liquid eyeliner(charcoal), dark brown eyeliner, black eyeliner, and sultry black eye shadow. i need help with colors that make my eye color which is saphire blue to pop out. i need insturctions on how much eye shadow to apply where and what colors would work with me. THANK YOU ALL FOR ANSWERING!!!MAKE-UP tips!!!! i need help applying and choosing colors that makes my eye color POP!!?
    Hiya

Saphire blue eyes look amazing! The best colours to make them stand out would be browns, taupes and silver.

Its best to apply with a decent brush with brisstles 9not the soft pad type ones that come free with some eye shadows. They are worth buying as they last for agesssss!!!

Depending on the colour just apply to your eyelid as thick or as light as you want. For a daytime look its best to keep it light for a night time going out dressy look you can apply more to make it darker - also a tip is to mix eye shadow with moisteriser if you want it to be darker you can create a totally different look out of the colour by doing this.

Try out some blues to match your eyes or if you wanna go opposite i would check out the color wheel you learn about in art class to find an opposite color lol

    One Color wheel link:http://www.realcolorwheel.com/othercolorwheel.htg/RCW12.gif
eye liner = black an donly on the bottom pull the skin under yur eyes down and put it on the line thats inside yur eye not yur skin if your put it on yur skin it looks bad but if yur putting on brown sumtime you cn out it on the skin only put on brown when yur wearign bright clothes

eye shadow = pink on bottom ad light green on top brush it lightly and swift it one side dont brush ti on back and forth mix it a lil in the middle

mascara = black and only on the top

    hope this helps :]
With deep set eyes the eyelid crease is set back so the area from the base of the eye lashes to the brow bone seems hidden. To enhance deep-set eyes line both the upper and lower lids. Choose light shadows: pale pink, peach or beige. More intense shading on the brow bone also gives the eyes prominence. Take a darker shade and extends it past your outer eye in an upward ';cat'; eye motion. It's not as severe as normal ';cat'; eyes because you have to soften the look with a medium shade along the middle and a light shade along the upper eyelid just below the eyebrow. Have a matching shade of eyeliner along the upper eye and also along the lower eye. Blend this color by using medium eye shadow over your lower eyeliner. The only way you can do this is to use the proper brushes for application. You won't get a good Smokey or even a good ';cat'; eye with the applicator that comes in your eye shadow compact. You will need to invest in two brushes for this look. When just beginning to use makeup, use the lighter colors in your color range. Earth tones are recommended for blue eyes - that is browns, tans, beige. One of my favorite new colors is our creamy eye shadow called Tingle in our Eye Silks. You can experiment with eyeliner and mascara. Do you have nice thick eyelashes? If so, then you do not need mascara and perhaps a light brown eyeliner would then be a good choice. If your eyelashes are thin and or light, then you could apply a chocolate brown mascara. The clue to eye makeup is to apply it so that it brightens your eyes (lighter eyeshadow colors brighten eyes and make them appear larger). You want your look to be fresh and natural. You will look better and your mom will be happy too!For blue eyes to stand out, you need to go with contrasting eye shadow colors! Colors that contrast are yellow tones including eye shadow shades of brown and taupe, orange and gold. These colors will help blue eyes ';POP';. I recommend you take a look at Nature, Sunset, and Lioness Eye Shadow by Bren Cosmetics to see these colors. I would use Brown or Black (Raven) eyeliner from Bren as well as Chocolate or Black Mascara. These colors will help your eyes stand out.
Too much in the dark tones can be goth looking. With blue eyes, put dark brown on the lid and a creamy beige on the protion below your brown then fill in the crease with a dark beige. Use brown liner below your eyes only.

    Good luck!
if you havr brown eyes, browns, tans and purples will look best

if you have blue eyes, silver, blue, and greys..

if you have green eyes, brown, green, and pretty much anything bright

Im not so sure about green but im sure about the brown one
    Try this:

Only put eyeliner along your bottom lid (black) It makes your eyes shine brighter. Then Try a glittery pink, or a soft gold. After that only put mascara on your top eyelashes And last GENTLY take a cotton ball and brush your eyelashes up and toward your ears.

    Hope that helps!
Warm colors of eyeshadow are going to help your blue eyes look brighter - so use peaches, cinnamons, topaz browns. If you only line the top lid, your eyes will appear more open and wide - if you line top and bottom it closes the look of the eye and can be very overwhelming esp. if you're using black. Smudge the line, so it's not harsh. Apply a medium warm eyeshadow color in the crease, a lighter perhaps sparkly color right above your pupil, then you can use your sultry black shadow or a dark blue only on top of the liner in the outside corner of your eye. Blend it all really well! Use quality eyeshadows, because they really will make a difference. Also a nice shadow base will help with application and prevent creasing, besides making your eyeshadow stay on longer (base is usually a cream you put on first. The powder shadows don't have to blend in w/your skin tone then, and the cream helps the powder have something to stick to. They're great).
This would be much easier for me to help you with in person, because your hair and skin tone need to be taken in consideration as well as the shape of your eyes.

Generally speaking, however, for a two-color application you would put the light to medium shade all over from lash to brow and the deeper shade in the shape of a sideways ';v'; from halfway across in the crease and along the lashline.

You mentioned buying a black shadow, if you have a deeper skintone you can use this as the contour (deeper) color and use a gold (such as Arbonne's Mesmerized) as the base color. The gold will make your blue eyes ';pop';. If your skin is lighter you would use a brown (such as Arbonne's Cinder) instead of the black. Sometimes a combo like a peachy shade for the base (chiffon) and a mossy green like (Counterfeit) will do the trick.

1st line the top and bottom of your eyes with black liner, then take a Qtip %26amp; blend it in (making it look smokey). then take a shimmery white or light pink shadow and brush it slightly on your eyelids and up below your brow. Then take a darker color, either the sultry black or a gold and put that on just the lid. Then, use black mascara on both the top %26amp; bottom lashes! GOOD LUCK!
    HEY,

Look at this picture and follow the colors that they used on this eye!

    http://www.eyescolored.com/catalog/image鈥?/a>
You want colors that will contrast with your eye color so they stand out. In your case, you'd use red, but red makes you look tired. You should try a softer pink shade instead. You can do so much with your eye makeup. Just expirement and have fun with it. Trace all over your eyes with one really shimmery dramatic color or mix it up. Line your top lashes with a darker color, like dark brown, swipe a sparkly pink on your lids and a more subtle, but darker shade of pink in the crease. Line your bottom lashes with golden pink and under your eyebrows as a highlight. Dab a sparkly or white shadow on your inner corners to really make them pop.

What are make up tips to make GREEN eyes stand out and eyes look BIGGER?

okay i have green eyes to and i am really good with eyeshadows and such. okay use a bright blue, a dull grren, and brown, and tan to do this. put brown at the bottom ( thin strip of brown). and then do the green on the lid (dont go any higher than the crease) then take the blue and on the outside corner do a little streak of blue and do blue lightly in the crease. then use the tan on your brow area. then take brown liner on top (not too much) and a litttle on bottom. use black mascara. and to add some extra effect take blue liner and (lightly) smudge under eye lashes on bottom. =) here is something a little similar, but not totally. she doesnt have green eyes. but watch her vids, now she is famous! she is amazing!! (this one has the blue liner)http://youtube.com/watch?v=DCEFsKfiEIU and this one is similar to the shadow http://youtube.com/watch?v=MqAsravUn-Y

and this one is too http://youtube.com/watch?v=neAkUTJT9DM

(but not so intense haha) =)What are make up tips to make GREEN eyes stand out and eyes look BIGGER?
All eye colors look lighter when you surround them in a dark version of their color( and jet black) So i'd say use subtle olive- forest green eyeliner and get it all smudgy, only on the top lid, the second you touch your bottom lid your eyes will look smaller. And then use at least 3 coats of blacker than black mascara! What are make up tips to make GREEN eyes stand out and eyes look BIGGER?
Do not use eye liner on the upper lid. Use a taupe or light color shadow to open the eyes. Do not use green or blue but stick to very light colors to bring out the green and widen the eye. Use eye liner under eye only.
ive got green/brown eyes and to make the green stand out, i have a light gold shimmery eyeshadow, then pile on the mascara and eyeliner. i have big eyes anyway so they look massivo :D
With green eyes, use blue or yellow eyeshadows. They enhance your green eyecolor more because they are complimentary.
BROWN DEFINETLY, IT WILL BRING OUT THE GREEN IN IT

AND USE HEAVY BROWN MASCARA AND EYELINER
hey i have green eyes and i use light green sparkly eye shadow and i find it helps especially with black eye liner and mascara!

  • What are some make up tips for round eyes?

My sister has beautiful round, hazel eyes. I have brown eyes that are almond shaped so my make up tips don't look good on her eyes. She needs my help for a school dance, any tips? (She's 14, so not too flashy)

Oh and if you have any tips for my eyes while your at it I'd of course appreciate it!What are some make up tips for round eyes?
Ha-ha! I have round hazle eyes nd I am 14 too!! I use a brownish purple eye shadow. What I do it I put cream foundation over my eyes and then sweep some eye shadow over that,(light not to heavy) then I use massara and clear or light pink lip gloss. I hope this helps your sister!! byeWhat are some make up tips for round eyes?
Basically when it comes to eyeliner what you want to do is make it ';blend'; in not to the point that it's faded but just enough to look like it wasn't painted on.

after you apply a stick eyeliner to your bottom lids wait about 10 seconds then smudge it using your finger (gently) orr using a eye shadow brush to smudge it

for eye shadow you can try a neutral beige tone just to highlight your eyes and if you want eye liner on your top lid liquid looks best. what i usually do is first use a eye pencil on my top lids and then retrace it with liquid eye liner. this helps it from becoming uneven bc the pencil is easier to control and easier to trace

    Amber eyes make-up tips?

what colour eyeliner and mascara and eye shadow should i wear to bring out my amber eyes...amber is like gold color ..Amber eyes make-up tips?
Try like a really smoky charcoal or midnight blue eyeshadow, to make the brightness of your eyes pop. (Just don't apply too much). If you want to look more natural, just use like warm, mochas for a sweet look. For mascara, either do a dark brown or a suddle black. Same with the eyeliner.

Any tips or added info for doing your 'smokey eye' make-up?

What are some things you have learned or would like to share (your own personal tips) on making your eyes 'smokey.'Any tips or added info for doing your 'smokey eye' make-up?
The smokey eye is pretty simple. You just start at the lash line with black or dark dark gray just a little of it though, then sweep a medium silverish gray over the lid up tot the crease and finally take a light grey/silver and brush up your upper lid. For an exaggerated highlight, brush matte white shadow on the brow bone right below your eyebrows. Make sure to blend upward, but not too much on the bottom.

A twist on the classic smoky eye is always fun, too.

Do a classic smoky eye with black or the darkest gray you have in the crease, then sweep a medium silvery gray over your lid. To add pizazz and a twist, use a dark purple, or any darker color, blended in the black in the crease.(or if its a lighter color, sweep it over the silverygrey on the lid.) Over the brow sweep a light silver and over the brow bone (right underneath your eyebrow, along the arch), use white as an exaggerated highlight. use black eyeliner and mascara that creates the wide-eyed look. Use minimal blush, a like pink to mauve and nude to light pink ligloss with a shine. You could also experiment with bright eyeliners on the waterline.

    Have fun! %26amp;%26amp; I hope I helped!!!

    Thirteen,blonde,blue eyed...make-up tips?

well first off im thirteen, blonde hair, and blue eyes...i have a ton of acne and i need a foundation to cover up my red spots...and suggestions??Thirteen, blonde, blue eyed...make-up tips?
First - for the acne - I think the stuff that worked best for my son was PRO-Active Acne Care Plan - you can buy a generic form of it at most discount stores - we found it at Wal-Mart. As for makeup - go as little as possible at this stage of the game. The more you use - the more it might mess w/ your skin. Also -if you haven't already done so - you may want to see a Dermatologist - or at least your regular doctor to find out if there's something going on that might make your acne worse. Otherwise - altho I've never used it - I do agree w/ the Bare Essentials answers. I hear its great stuff.....Thirteen,blonde,blue eyed...make-up tips?
Nothing will actually ';cover'; your acne, but most mineral powder foundations will cover the redness associated with the acne. A good color eye shadow you should use is a brown because it will contrast your blue eyes. To actually get rid of your acne, I would use either the neutrogena wave thing or proactive. Don't pick at your pimples either because if you do, they will never heal.
maybe blend ur eyeshadow, i think that if u match ur eyeshowdow to ur eyes it would look really nice!
    bear minerals

    they are thee best

    they look really natural on

it will probably help the break outs too

you can get it at ulta
do mineral foundation. it works nd it doesnt clog pores. wen applying foundation only use the brush NOT sponge. wen u have acne the best thing to do is avoid make up even on the eyes. also try clearasil foundation it fights acne while covering up the spot. also try putting on skin toner nd then foundation to minimize redness. i struggled w/ acne too so i'm full of tips tht actually work.
bear minerals its natueral and will cover anything you want up without looking like a clown and i would just use a little eye shadow and lip gloss very pretty

    Blue eyes- make-up tips?

I have blue eyes and im 13. i started wearing makeup to school this year but im not sure what colors look good on me. or what is a good style to wear to school thats not too much. for more info i am a winter palate, have dark brown hair and a peaches and cream complextion.Blue eyes- make-up tips?
    well now dear,

    from experience with my mom.

    who also has blue eyes,

browns and silvers or golds make them look stunning.

i would go with a little bit of gold eyeshadow,

in the corner and blend it outwards with some shimmery brown eyeshadow.

then use some dark brown eyeliner and,

    brownish black mascara.

    and you will be gorgeous,

    i assure you.

    good luck lovie;

    danielle(:Blue eyes- make-up tips?
For school, I think tinted moisturizer instead of foundation and maybe a little powder blusher in a light pink shade. Instead of using a bright colored eyeshadow for school, you could use a shimmery golden brown Colour to bring out your eyes. Try to wear as little make up as possible and if you have relatively good skin you could try just using a little face powder instead of foundation/tinted moisturizer. I am a year older than you so I know what you can get away with at school, lol.
haha i was just telling someone else this who asked the say question .

I have blues eyes as well and I go for a more natural look .

i put brown on the top of the eye lid and a little on the bottom.

But if you want more then that here are some other choices . Well , there are some colors that seem to be made for blue eyes. Icy pinks, silver, gold and violet all come to mind. You can expand your selection by also choosing taupe, gray, and other purples, like lavender.

If you want to add a little ';oomph'; to your makeup, try a bright blue instead. I know, I know. You've always heard bad things about blue eyeshadow. However, these makeup tips for blue eyes include bright blue eyeshadow because it will make your eyes really stand out. Try it and see what you think.

Also try turquoise, and if your eyes have green in them, mint green is a great choice. Bright pinks and fuschia are great choices as well. And if you really want to mix it up, try mixing black with another color. It will look striking and it usually best for nightwear.

Also keep you hair dark , dark hair and dark features really brings out blue eyes.
i have blue eyes and dark hair too - its a great and unusual combination and you don't need to do too much to look good. Black mascara and black or brown eyeliner with light / white / coloured eyeshadow will really emphasise your blue eyes. What kind of look do you like? Is there someone famous with similar colouring to you - look at what she does for different situations. If you wear foundation, be careful with peaches and cream skin - go for cooler colours, otherwise you can look a bit yellowy.
Sounds like you look like my sister- and she just started wearing makeup too. As far as eye liner, a good place to start might be something soft, and not too dark. My sister uses a dark blue pencil, which sounds kinda weird, but it's subtle, and really makes her blue eyes pop. Eye shadow colors: brown is a really good shade to start out w/ and experiment w/ depending on if your eyes are big/small deep-set etc. But a copper tone often looks good w/ blue. Also light pinks are really soft and feminine and depending on the shade, in my opinion are a great start for anyone! Last thing: try and find one of those roll on eye shadows. Maybelline has a light pink one and a gold colored one that I really like. They come in tubes, and you just roll them over your eyelids almost like lip gloss. They're very subtle, but make anyone's eyes look beautiful! K. so that was a bunch of words! hope some of it was helpful! :)
i have blue eyes as well. since your only 13 start of with a brown eyeliner that maybe has a shimmer, with either a brown mascara or black/brown. the brown helps to make your eyes pop. (black is too harsh looking on a 13 year old). then when you're older you could start doing more of a smokey look with either black, brown, or gray. also putting a soft shimmery pink eye shadow on the inside corners of your eyes would bring out the blue.
I think you shold just wear some liquid eyeliner in black on your top lid. mac's fluid line in black is really easy to use and lasts a long time. curl your lashes and wear a few coats of black mascara with it to bring out your blue eyes.

use some peach blush to bring out your complexion for a pretty day time look
Well i have blue eyes also...and i just love wearing light blue eye shadow it brightens up my eyes....but when i want a more sexier look i go for a light brown that have a shimmer in it...(but your only 13 so i wouldnt worry about the sexiness part of course not for school anyway)..well good luck:)
ok start with dark blue or purple eyeshadow and use mascara and eyeliner to darken and intenisfy those lashes

It's a little too much. And I'm not a big fan of blue, maybe you should try a more neutral tone like a glitter beige color, or a light pink.
I think it looks like a little too much. Too sparkly, but I'm into more natural, if you like having white sparkle eyes, go for it.
To be fair, it's not as nice as mine.

    Eye make up tips?

I have hazel eyes that change colors with what i m wearing and light brown hair with different shades of natural blonde and auburn in it. I use a bronze-y shaded waxy eyeliner that blends well with my skin tone, black doesnt work for me, I don't put it in the inside of my eyelid because it could get infected. Right now i m using gold, shimmery white, and brown shaodws on my eyes and it works well but i want to try something else. Any tips? Also I m looking for a new base. I use my moms old one its too light for me but it blends, and then i put blush to help it, but at the end of the day it comes off. What kind of base should I use? Also my eyeliner droops by the end of the day, and i tried using eyeshadow but it doesnt show up, also regular pencils dont show up either! Ugh. Sorry i have so many questions...but what should i do?Eye make up tips?
if your light skined you show go with warm colors for yous face, so you wont look that old. you should get the MAC foundation which is found in Nordstrom. it really works well!!!!! i hat the fact that my eyeliner comes off too by the end of the day.

I like to keep it simple,

    but I want something different.

And make my eyes ';pop'; more.

    Steps please :)Eye Make-up tips?
well for starters you've got really pretty green eyes and gorgeous long lashes. so you've got a something great to work with.

start by curling your lashes with a good quality eyelash curler

apply a good, even coat of brown/black mascara (black will look too harsh) on both your top and bottom lashes

get some pearl eyeshadow (the lighter the better but light neutral tones will work too)

dust it lightly under your bottom lash line to brighten up the skin beneath your bottom lashes

dust it on your lid and most importantly on the inner corners of your eyes (this is what will make them pop above anything else)

now apply one last coat of mascara on the top and bottom lashes

    your look is finished!

    here's the end result:

    http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f313/a鈥?/a>

it takes some practice but you'll get the hang of it and your eyes will be the attention grabbers you want them to beEye Make-up tips?
I'm into extreme stuff so you might want to tone it down, but this is what i do:

    1. Teensy-weensy plucked eyebrows, but fill them in with eyeliner so they're defined.

    2. Bright color eyeshadow! I usually do purple, hot pink, or neon green. Occasionally I use black.

    3. Black liquid liner on top, %26amp; wing it out on the outside.

    4. Lots of mascara :)

    5. Just a little bit of eyeliner %26amp; bronze eyeshadow on the bottom. That way it looks defined, but balances out the craziness on top.

TADA! you're done. Don't put anything on your lips (except maybe chapstick) or your skin unless you need a little concealer.

I like my eyes to be over-the-top, and then have everything else pale and natural.

    EYE MAKE-UP tips!!!!!?

I need some very bold, %26amp; daring eye make-up looks/tips. But also some soft, %26amp; elegant eye make-up looks/tips too!

    anyone have anything?

also anything you know to make brown eyes stand out is a great help too.

%26amp; to make eyes appear bigger

any eye make-up tips are great :]

    please %26amp; thank you!

love you guys %26lt;3EYE MAKE-UP tips!!!!!?
My favorite eyeshadow trio is the Covergirl Trio in ';Shimmering Sands'; which is an amazing neutral. I also love Clinique's ';Victorian Pink'; duo for the same reason! My first big tip for any makeup look is to use a big eyeshadow brush (which looks similar to a small blush brush). The shadow applies quickly and more evenly.

Using a neutral, but then applying a shimmery jewel tone shadow to the edges of the lids can be a great bold effect. What ever you do, don't use jewel tones in the creases or in the area between the crease and your brow. Not a good look.

Another thing you can do to switch from soft to bold is use different eyeliners. I recommend a brown pencil eyeliner for a softer look, and black liquid eyeliner (cover girl and maybelline both make great ones) for a bolder look. Black liquid eyeliner is also awesome for pictures, so whenever you plan on taking them make sure to use that even if the rest of your makeup is neutral. It makes your eyes appear bigger and helps them to stand out. I always use a soft black mascara no matter which type of liner I use.

    Hope that helps!

    As always,

    ChristineEYE MAKE-UP tips!!!!!?
bold/daring- dark blue, light brown (and i mean light like your skin color but shimmery) start with the light grown and cover most of your lid then use the dark blue to push back the crease to create dimension. you could use another light color like a light pink right on top of the lid to pop it out. use dark blue eye liner and make sure you blend everything to make it smoky. you can also make it more dramatic by lining the whole entire eye or drag out the liner on the top.

soft/elegant-medium brown, light pink. use the Mbrown for crease and use the light pink for everything elese. use a dark brown for liner and i would just do the tail corners of your eyes. you could make it softer line by using the Mbrown shadow to blend it.

good tip to remember is to make sure you blend. :)

good luck and i hope this helps
    BOLD:

*try a bright color like bright blue bright purple eyeliner (thin) and black mascara if you want just a bold look

could add a light tan eye shadow too if wanted

*if you want a dark emo ish ness about it try black eyeliner (top and bottom)(thicker) with black mascara and a grey eyeshadow lightly over it all

ELEGANT: a thin brown eyeliner (top and bottom) a pale pink or violet eye shadow and a brown mascara

    hope i helped

*one more thing - sephora a sells COLORED YES COLORED mascara i tried on bright blue mascara and it showed up (EVEN on camera like pictures show the blue!) its really cool you could try that
Consider this one rule of makeup that will always guide you: Light colors bring out, make larger and highlight. Dark colors recede, minimize or contour. So with this in mind you could work with dark eyeliner and light eye shadow colors to emphasize your dark eyes with black liner, mascara, a smudge of pale pink eye shadow, and finish with lightly flushed cheeks and make your lips your signature.
I have brown eyes and all I wear is eyeliner, it brings out my eye and I smudge it so it doesnt rub off things.

    Some tips are:

    - light brushes/colors of eye shadow

    - casual; not over the top

    - brown or blue eyeliner ( black looks emo )

    - not a lot of eyeliner (also makes you look emo)

    Good Luck
ok well for the brown eyes i like wearing a lime green color with black liner on the bottom lid on the inside ledge to make them pop out

as for the daring or soft i cant really help you cuz i wear bright colors everyday

try some colored liners and mascaras (i like purple) and use bright shadows
to help brown eyes stick out use a dark purple eye liner

Tan, White and light purple are plus too.
Nicole miller has an instructional beuty book for about $10. If you'd like to purchase it and try her products at wholesale prices with money-back guarantee until you find the right shades, do contact me.
Ugh I don't know where some people get their beauty advice but listen up!

I too have brown eyes and I HATE when they look small.

The biggest thing you want to avoid... UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES is eyeliner all the way around your eye! BY ALL MEANS avoid putting eyeliner on your bottom lid. Apply it to your top lid, a thin line, as close the the lashes as possible. I literally stick my eyeliner in my lashes and run across. It looks much better than a thick line of eyeliner (which to me looks kind of skanky)

To make your eyes appear bigger, buy a white or cream colored eyeliner or eyeshadow.. (the frosted ones work best).. and place it just on the inside of your eye.. like where your eyes start. You can run it along the bottom lid aswell, but this only look good with the eyeshadow. White brightens your eyes and makes them appear larger.

I wouldn't recommend any colored eyeliner or mascara, black only. That makes me think of 5th grade with silly little makeup kits. If you do like colored eyeliner, I suggest that you use a little make a small bit of color, then try to put the black over it.

To bring out brown eyes, any color purple works best. Not just dark purple, ANY purple.

You can buy the Almay pump it up/bring it out kits.. only as I said stay away from the colored eyeliner and mascara. The eyeshadows do a lot for your eyes. I think another company makes something like this too.

Natural colors look good on anyone, so go for light browns, tans, so on and so forth..

And remember, use different colors! Don't just use one shade of eyeshadow! You should line define highlight and contour. Use the lightest color of a 3or4 combo eyeshado for the area underneath your eyebrow, called the browbone. Use the next color on the biggest part of your eyelid. If its a three pack use the darkest color, start at the corner of your inner eye and drag the applicator along the crease in your eye, so it appears your eyeshadow colors starting from the top go 1-3-2. This willl define your eyes very well.

If its a 4combo eyeshadow then use the lightest color as the highlighter on the browbone. Use the second lightest color on the eyelid, use the next darker one as the contour on the crease of the eye. And then use the darkest color as though it was another eyeliner. Make a thin line with it alone the top of your eyelashes.. but make sure you can still see your second color you applied. After all is on run over your eyes with a clean blush brush to make sure it is all blended and set well.

Another tip I've found to make your eyes look not so small.. only use mascara on your top lashes!!!

For bold colors, I have aqua colors from Cover Girl. For a lighter look I use the Almay colors.

Both look beautiful on brown eyes. Purple, amethyst, lavender, aqua, bluegreen.. you name it.. it looks wonderful.

Try light pinks aswell.. its one of my new fav looks!

Hope it helped and happy hunting, testing, and loving!

try just curling your lashes for a fresh look. to make lashes look thicker add mascara. for a day look sweep a pinkish shadow over your lids. curl your lashes then add mascara. for a night look start with a shimmery beige base then use a darker shade (preferably) brown on the outer creases of your eyes. for a more daring look try smoky eyes. add silver/platinum base to your lids. dark colors at the crease then line your lower lashes with the same or another color. line the top lids with black or grey liner theb curl lashes and add mascara.Eye make up tips?

Do you use liner? Once I started using eye liner, I never went without it again. Now I use different colors for day %26amp; evening %26amp; night %26amp; special occassions, etc.... Go to QVC.com go to cosmetics; then go to SMASHBOX COSMETICS%26gt; There you will find the EYELINER PALETTE. It is a compact (the size of a credit card) which contains a little brush and 8 different shades of liner. They have 3 kinds of palettes so pick the one you like(I use all 3). And remember to coordinate shadows with the liner to bring out your color. This will work! I promise!!

    Eye make up tips.?

right now i use black liquid eyeliner on the top. then i use covergirl last blast waterproof black mascara on the top and bottom in more of a clumpy look. any ideas? i am preppy.Eye make up tips.?
Invest in a white gold loose powder eyeshadow. A light champagne/beige color eyeshadow or pale pink these have to be shimmery! not matte. I reccomend anything by Napoleon Perdis, but if moneys an issue I'm sure you could find some stuff similar in another brand,

Apply the biege or pale pink eyeshadow all over the eye lid, and apply the white gold on the brow bone (under your eyebrows) as a highlighter. Having well groomed eyebrows is a must aswell, this will help make your look more clean.

with the looks your trying to achive I wouldn't reccomend over the top eyeshadows as you really wake your eyes pop with the mascara %26amp; eyeliner.

then do what you do with your liquid liner %26amp; lashings of mascara! =] Try get the napoleon perdis china doll eyeliner...ITS THE BEST. it's in a tub so you'll need to invest in a eyeliner brush, but it does not budge %26amp; it's very black! %26amp; it doesnt look shiny like some liquid liners you can get

get a foundation that's not to heavy but covers well %26amp; a powder to help it set. if you don't already use it that is, be sure to get the correct color...you dont wanna look orange..

use bronzer for cheeks not blush, %26amp; a pale pink/nude lipgloss or lipstick.

I would explain this better %26amp; have more ideas but i don't know much about your appearance...such as hair color %26amp; eye color. So i hope i helped you out a bit! =]Eye make up tips.?
Actually for your look... you can apply a small amount of blush from your cheeks to your eye area (like brush it on lightly) if you wear blush. If you don't, try L` Oreal HiP - Hip - High Intensity Pigments (pinks and white color) on your eyelid with your black liquid eyeliner (very thin line) and your waterproof mascara.

L` Oreal HiP - Hip - High Intensity Pigments can be found at any drug stores like Longs, Walgreens, and RiteAid (try RiteAid if you have one in your area... from what I understand you can return your makeup items bought there and switch it with another one. Ask the store for details).
Try using a charcoal gray or brown eye pencil for day wear, which won't be as harsh as a black eye liner and will give a more natural look. I use Revlon Charcoal Color Stay eye liner which is pretty good, it's light so it's subtle but you can also pack it on if you want a more intense colour. Plus, it's not too expensive.

Also, before you put on your eyeshadow, always put on a base so that your eye shadow colour stands out a bit more and doesn't vanish so quickly throughout the day. You don't have to splurge a lot to buy a base, you can actually just use an ordinary pale or pale beige eye shadow as your base.

If you're preppy, I'm guessing you'd prefer light colours like light blue or pale pink and lilac but browns and golds are also nice. Also, a trick stars use to widen their eyes - dab a bit of shimmery or white eye shadow on the inner corners of eyes to make eyes pop.

You can also go to the make-up counters at the malls like MAC and get them to try different shades on your face so you can see what shades you like before buying them and how to apply them. There's also lots of eye make up how-to videos on YouTube that are pretty useful. Have fun! :)
i used to be in the same case as you. i use just noraml eye liner under my eye. then i get a dark blue eyeshadow and put it thinkly sort of aroun under my eye and slightly on the top like a blue eyeliner. with mascara put as much as you can on the brush(doesnt really matter what mascara.) and just keep going over and over your eyes lashes untill they dont go any darker etc. wait about 1-2 mins and do it again. it makes it stick ontop of you first bit of mascara makethem much thicker and longer. :D
Some glitter liquid eyeliner aling the top last line could be nice for your style. Subtle yet noticable!
peppy preppy, don't wear too much makeup, you will age faster and you will look like a hag before your 25
try to use pink or purple eye shadow and don`t use eyeliner and a white eye shadow on the bottom

Can any one help me out please?Any eye make-up tips?
I surfed around online, and here's what I found:

    Larger and More Dramatic

Dramatic eye makeup will use the application of a light shade of eye shadow from the eyelash line to the eyebrow. A darker shade will then be applied in a thin line just in the crease of the eye. This makes the eyelid look larger and more dramatic.

    Stronger and More Vibrant

To make your eye appear stronger and more vibrant, apply a medium shade of eye shadow over the darker shade that you have placed in the crease of the eye. This should be blended into the eyebrow bone.

    Using Eyeliner and Mascara

Your dramatic eye makeup will also include your eyeliner and mascara. Apply black eyeliner to your upper eyelashes. A thin line should be used from the inner corner of the eye. For dramatic eye looks, extend the line diagonally upward past the outer corner of the eye. On the bottom lashes you will also use eyeliner. This should be blended in making sure not to close the line at the outer corner of the eye. This will make your eyes appear smaller. Finish your dramatic eye make up application with two coats of mascara on both the upper and lower lashes.

liquid eyeliner..and check out eye makeup tutorials on youtube =]]
eyeliner on the lower lashes, mascara on the upper lashes, dark browns/purples of eyeshadow-do it layer by layer on your eyelid and blend the transition areas together, use 2-3 different shades
This is constructive criticism so please take it that way.

Now, you're a very pretty girl, but your makeup is wearing you, not the other way around. On most of the pics you have on entirely too much eyeshadow and its not enhancing your eyes.

I think a good place to learn how to (IMO) better apply your makeup is youtube.com. There are so many bloggers on that website (for example pursebuzz) who give such great advice on how to apply makeup. There are even people who work for MAC (for example amy04) that do video tutorials on youtube. You just have to look for them. I would suggest also going directly to the MAC counter but I know the counter where I live now charges a minimum purchase fee of $50.

    God Bless.
In the pictures w/o the blue eyeshadow, your eyes look really pretty. The more natural, the better. I would use a dark brown eyeliner on top and bottom, and a brown or earthtone eyeshadow. Browns will make your blue eyes pop! Almay intense i-color for blues would look great on you. And you can buy that at walmart!
3 shades- first shade on the lid, a darker on the crease, and lighter under the brow. you can put a lighter line right under the eyebrow too.

    Eye make up tips?

People say if you put on mascara/ eyeliner and dont take it off before bed it ruins ur eyes.. is that true?Eye make up tips?
I don't know that it would ';ruin'; your eyes as much as it would be bad for your eyelashes. The longer the product stays on, the harder it will be to remove, and you may lose some lashes unnecessarily in the process. You will also be tugging on your skin somewhat, and because the skin around your eyes is much thinner than the rest of your face, you may be causing pre mature wrinkling. It's not worth it. Remove your makeup. If it does not come off with your cleanser, use an eye makeup remover or baby oil/vaseline.Eye make up tips?
Well, chunks of mascara can break off and get in your eyes. If eye makeup is not removed daily there is an increased possibility of an allergic reaction or contact irritation.
You should apply it light on your eyelids and after you pass the crease go dark. If you want two colors; suppose green and pink put pink in the center and green surrounding it, then mix it. Mascara and eyeliner can affect your eyesight. You shouldn't wear make up to bed because of the toxins it has.
    nope its not.

i do it all the time!

just make sure that you do at some point wash it off...you know?
    3 tips for you!

    1. If you have an angular face with prominent bone structure (like Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Anniston) and angular jaw, avoid using a lot of liner or definition on the lower lids, as it brings out the harshness of the jawline and nose. If, however, you have a fuller, softer-looking face (like Yasmine Bleeth or Carmen Electra), more dark definition/liner on the lower lids will add more definition to your features and can also balance out a lack of definition in your jaw line. Faces somewhere in between can depend on whatever look they are going for, but a ';smoky eye'; will have the same effect without risking the ';harsh'; look.

    2. Instead of old-fashioned wands or q-tips, apply eye shadow powder using a good brush.

    3. Never ever share your eye makeup, especially liners and mascaras, even with your best friends, as viruses and infections can be easily contracted this way (even those you don't know about).

    ew.. dnt do it
i say use liquid liner but only if ur really good with it or you mite smudge it

but amy puts wayy too much liner just make it smaller becuase you mite look crazii and the winged eye does looks nice but you have to know what looks nice on your eyes
her eyes look awful lol i wear liquid eyeliner everyday and do the little flicks at the side (no wehere near as big as amys lol), liquid liner is the best because it drys, so theres no smudging, practise practise practise and it will become perfect :)!!! good luck!!!
I advise you not to do it like hers.. its really ugly in my opinion XD
    # 1- Don't go crazy with colors.

If you're not her skin tone and Amy has all these bright pinks on and you have darker skin it will look ridiculous= )

    Eye make-up tips please ?

I need some tips for applying eyemakeup, my eyes always look like small with the way I apply my makeup now, is there anyway to apply eyeliner/eyeshadow to make my eyes look bigger ?Eye make-up tips please ?
I've heard many times , applying eyeliner on your bottom lids make your eyes look smaller.

    - Dab Alittle bit of white eyeshadow in the corner of your eyes to brighten them up a bit.

    - In my opinon , I love gold/brown eyeshadow and found it opened up my eyes more.

    - I've heard putting mascara on your top and bottom lashes makes your eyes look more awake and bigger and brighter.

    Hope that helped(:Eye make-up tips please ?
    Advanced Rounded Eye Shadow Application

Highlighter eye shadow across the eyelid, from the lash line to slightly beyond the crease, and all the way to the eyebrow.

Mid tone eye shadow on inner corner of lid.

Accent eye shadow on crease and in wedge; blend all well.

Line upper and lower lashes with with eyeliner pencil.

    how to apply eyeliner

Apply eyeliner and start the line away from the inner corner of your eye thickening toward the outer edge and extend it slightly upward.
    Do you like cat eyes?

With liquid liner, make a dotted line close to lashes to map out where you want the liner to go. Then connect the dots with one long swipe, starting at your inner corner and going up toward the outer edge of your brow. Repeat the process from the middle of your lower lashline, stopping at the outer corner of your eye. (Try Revion ColorStay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black. It's $8 and available at most drugstores.)

Hold your eyes closed for a minute to let the liner dry. Then lightly sweep a sheer gray shadow over the liner, blending up to your creases for a smoky effect. Bonus: The shadow helps set the liner, so it stays in place! (Try NYX Eyeshadow in Black Sparkle. It's $5 at ULTA stores).

Apply two coats of mascara to top and bottom lashes. Wiggle the wand at the base of your lashes to fill in any spaces you may have missed with the liner, then lightly touch it to the tip of each lash for tons of volume. (Try Flirt! Lash-a-delic Mascara in Mod Black. It's $14 at Kohl's.)
I totally understand how you feel I am Chinese and so my eyes are really small.

Basically NO black liner on the lower eye. Always top with a little tail at the end of the eye. Always use mascara and eye lash curler plus in the corner of your eyes (inner corner) you can purchase a silver or white eye shadow. Then you just use a thin tip and colour in that little corner.

It will brighten your eyes plus it is natural and not too much for your eyes.

    Hope it helps
Pluck your eyebrows to open up the eye area and create a frame for your eyes. Use light shimmery shadow to make your eye appear bigger, and a thin line of eyeliner on the top and bottom, and lots of black mascara to make your eyes pop. Don't cake on mascara all at once. Allow it to dry between coats.
Use flattering eyeshadow on just the lid (similar to your skin tone)

(don't go for dark colours or they might make eyes smaller)

use a soft pencil to outline the outside corners (blend softly)

open the eye with a few lashings of mascara on the top lashes.

    Practice makes perfect.
Wear something that is dark eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes and apply mascara twice to make you eyelashes look fuller, also wear dark gray eyeshadow on you eyelids then above them wear a color to blend in the color and make sure the color is light to match with the dark color from you eyelids.
Line your top lash line and extend it beyond the edge of your eyes. Only use eyeliner on the outer third of your bottom lash line. Go soft and smokey rather than harsh lines.

Use mascara! And an eyelash curler. Always helps. And keep your eyeshadow light. Dark colors might shrink them more.

    Good luck!
well i always put more on the top and less on the bottom.

i like to use a brownish color for eye shadow and i like glitter

alot so use a glitter brown eyeshadow. NEVER make your eyeshadow match your shirt it makes everything look really weird.
If you want to make your eyes look bigger, then you should outline the outside fo your eyes and not right on the line of your eyes.

Look at your eyes and outline the outer part of your eyes, which would be outlining the skin part fo your eyes.
to make your eyes look bigger, line your waterline with a white eyeliner. and curl your eyelashes and apply mascara. this will help make you look wide awake with bigger brighter eyes. for more tips, you can always search youtube :]
if you have small eyes, then you need to stay away from eyeliners, and heavy makeup.. Use mascara, on upper and bottom lashes. For eye shadow, use silvers and pastilles, nothing to dark.
If you apply white pencil to the edges it makes your eyes look bigger

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nJXK5EJE鈥?/a>
dont put you liner clean to the inner part of your eye it closes it up, and use darker shadow on the outside and up the outer edge of your lid, lighter on the inner part of your lid
do not circle your eye with eyeliner.

use a smoky eye effect and liner on your top lids

and add a little to the outer bottom corners of your eye...

i do that and it makes my eye bigger.. you should try it
Dark liner on the bottom will make your eyes appear smaller. Try less eyeliner for one. Also, use a highlighter on the inside creases of your eyes and along your brows.
Put your eyeliner on half of the bottom of your eye and a little thicker on the top of your eye, but only half on the top too.
usually when you use eyeliner it makes your eyes look smaller so i would stay away from that. try bright colors like pink, blue or green for eyeshadows and apply less make up then you would thin you would need.
I use eyeliner, mascara, curl my lashes, and then use regular blush
change eye cntacts to make eyes look bigger

    apply a lot of mascara

Because of your flexible eye color, almost anything would look good. But, if you want a dramatic, sexxy look, the cat-eye is always nice (grab a good charcoal eye shadow and a liqiuid black eye liner for this.). Also, if you want a fresh, solid look, earthy tones like baby blues, light lavanders, and whites will really bring down your look (in a good way). Best brands for eye makeup are...Dior, Chanel, MAX Factor, and Very Sexy by Victoria's Secret.Any good eye make up tips?

keep more of a lighter color towards the front of your eye-near your eye lashes. Something nude or a light pink color. This grabs the color of your eyes and makes it look brighter and more open.

Then use a darker color in the crease of your eye lid this way it gives your eyes a contrast and more definition to the color of your eyes. When you use the darker color in the crease then it takes the color of your eyelashes and enhances them as well.

    Try it!
Always recognize your skin tone and hair color as well as your eye color. In your pic it shows you have brown hair. If you have tan skin tone I would use dark brown eyeliner under and above the eyes. Use a sponge to lightly smear it to give it a blend to the skin.Use Almay ';Plaay up the blue'; shadow. Smear the brownn shadow all over the eye lid, the navy shadow in the eye crease, and the light blue shadow at the tip of the eyes. Use a brown volumizer mascara. (maybelline usually works best). If you have pale skin tone (really good for winter looks) Use a charcoal color eyeliner. Try CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus. (comes with sponge tip). Use a metallic silver shadow just under the eyes and a little above to give it a sparkle. Use a navy in the eye crease. Use black mascara. Hope this Helps!

light pinks and light purples, light browns, and tan looks great for blue eyes
Smokey eyes or silver shadow would look so sexy. It's a fool proof style for almost everyone.

Do an image search for Lily Cole. She's a redhead who seems to posses all your same qualities. Small blue eyes, red hair and fair skin. She's always pretty simple too with her makeup.

Couple picsI especially liked b/c of her makeup... pink blush, simple lips (but go glossy), soft eyes with brown liners. Let that hair be the show stopper!

i have blue eyes and red hair. try using brown eyeliner [it makes blue eyes stand out] and try covergirl exact eyelights mascara. i never use eyeshadow or anything else, but i ocasionally use bare minerals because it covers any small blemishes and makes your face look smoother. hope i helped a little!
Use a brown eyeliner and shear/lighter brown color on your eyes and they will make your features POP like crazy!

earthy colors! browns go great with blue eyes but be careful the color is not too dark or it will look overdone with your pale complexion.
