Newly Brunette needs eye make up tips?

HI there, I am a newly colored brunette. I am wondering how I go about choosing great eye color makeup.

I have green eyes (like the color of spruce trees) and rich brown hair. What would you suggest I wear for makeup. Keeping in mind I like makeup but hate to spend more than 5-10 minutes.

Thanks for your time.Newly Brunette needs eye make up tips?
well i am the same way brown hair and green eyes i wear a nice green color for my eyes or a light blue eyeliner and also a very black mascara!Newly Brunette needs eye make up tips?
i dont have green eyes i have brown but if i did id most likely use like a goldish or like a light brown color on the lids with mascara lots of it because i love mascara even though my eyelashes are long enough. but the brown %26amp; green look good i used green eyshadow once and it made my brown eyes pop Report Abuse

dark brown eye makeup, eye liner, and lots of mascara!

Anyone have any eye make up tips?

When ever I do my eye make up my eyes end up looking really dark like I'm sick or something. I usually use black eyeliner, black mascara and lighter eye shadow. Does anyone have any good tips? Also I want my eye lashes to look bigger, I've tried many different macaras but none seem to make them pop. How do you put eye make up on if your going out or just going to work/school? Tips appreciated.Anyone have any eye make up tips?
I try to stay away from eyeshadow b/c I'm like you and if I use it I end up looking sick. An awesome tip I found out is that if you put a slightly lighter foundation on your eyelids and a creme or whitish eyeshadow below your brow it lightens up your face it also makes your eyelashes stickout even if you are just wearing a little mascara. As for the eyeliner smudge it so it lasts longer :)Anyone have any eye make up tips?
my sister use eyeliner except she makes the eyeliner come out slightly past her eye it makes your lashes look longer. also make your eyes pop by using different colors of eyeshadow like purple. http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

Make sure you use bright colors to like pink blue and green but make sure u kno how to wear them plese.
I had the same problem! Now instead i do somethings different, You can by mascara that has like 2 sides, one is to extend and the other one is to darken, i use that all the time, ALSO, for yur eyeliner problems, use liquid. It looks more mature and defined. Keep on using lighter shades or maybe use a golden brownish colour! Hope that helps ;)
use a white eyeliner to soften the affects of your eyes; smudge it so it isnt too bright; adding mascara over this will atomatically make lashed look biger. and because the eyeliner isnt very loud and dark you can use a smokey eye shadow to create a subtle but amasing look; becuase it brings attention to the eyes only a light lipgloss is needed.

hope this helps
use white shadow in the corner of your eyes!!!! and hardcore volume mascara and eyeliner outlining the bottom of your eye!!!

works for me :)

Eye make-up tips for very dark brown eyes?

I have black hair and usuaslly have a warm color of tan. I always use black eyeliner and mascara with different eyeshadows. I am interested in using different color eyeliners, I am not sure which colors would look good without looking cheesy. Any tips would help a lot. ThanksEye make-up tips for very dark brown eyes?
Hello. It sounds as if we have the same coloring - I'm Italian with black, curly hair and olive skin. Also with brown eyes. Hopefully, I can provide a little bit of insight on eyeliners!

There are two colors that most flatter brown eyes. I've studied makeup artists over the past ten years, and brown eyes really pop with green and purple. The trick, though, is not so much with the eyeliner. I've learned recently, that the trick you want to stick to, is smudging black eyeliner into the root of your eyelashes (doesn't have to be perfect), but it creates a natural line. Then, with an small angled brush, apply green or purple eyeshadow directly to your eyelid, and directly under your bottom eyelashes. Use sparingly along the bottom - you don't want it to be too dark, but trust me - it looks amazing. And always remember that you want your darkest shade of eyeshadow to appear at the corners of your eyes to elongate your eye.

Sometimes after applying the shadow beneath my eyelashes, I apply a little black eyeliner in the corner and right underneath for a smokey, nighttime effect.

And an extra tip - bronzers always look fabulous on our skin, and make our eyes pop. Use a brush to apply in a ';C'; motion beginning atop your temple and smoothing down to the top of your cheekbones. Finish with a pink blush right on the apples of your cheeks.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you!!Eye make-up tips for very dark brown eyes?
I have dark brown eyes, too, and I love using purple or green eyeliners to change things up every now and then. Don't go too bright or too shimmery and you'll look great. Purple probably looks best with my dark eyes, but green is just fun to play with.
I think a color a little bit darker than your skin might look good. So maybe a brownish color for your eyeshadow?
Use a brown liner that matches your eye color or one that matches the tiny flecks of color in your eye. Try browns and taupe colored eye shadows.
Haha, sounds like me. Myself I love having dark eyes as it means I can wear almost any colour. Altho, I stick to darker colours. I wear lots of colour on my eyes. I use a lot of greens, reds, purples, pinks and sometimes aqua (but usually toned down with black). I love dramatic dramatic makeup so you may not find this useful....

My eyes are almond-shaped I guess and people say I have flecks of green in them but I can't see that. I have a 'dance' coming up so what make-up would you suggest?Eye make-up tips for brown eyes going to a dance?
    ~Applying a Perfect Base

    1. Apply moisturizer 5 minutes before you start your makeup. All bases will go on more smoothly if your skin is well-hydrated. Tissue off any excess - while moisturized skin is good, too much grease will make it slip and slide.

    2. Remember that less is more, so don't apply big swathes; instead, put a few dots around your face. Now, using your fingers or a foundation sponge, blend these dots together. make sure you blend extra-well around your hairline and jaw. If you've chosen the right shade for your skin tone, there shouldn't be an obvious difference.

    3. Once the foundation has settled into the skin, check for any obvious under-eye shadows or blemishes showing through. If there are, correct these - if you have any of these and would like help on how to properly cover them up, click on my profile to e-mail me and let me know.

    ~How to Apply Blusher

    For a natural healthy glow:

    1. Apply foundation (and, if necessary, powder) as normal. Smile - where your cheek is naturally at its fattest is where blusher needs to go to create a natural look.

    2. Apply the blusher in a small circle, blending well. For best results, try a gel blusher. Now powder over the top.

~How to Apply Basic Eye Makeup

    1. Prime your eyelid. Eyeshadow will last longer if it's not applied directly to bare skin (oil on the lids can cause the shadow to crease, while dry lids will absorb moisture from the shadow, leaving blochy color), so sweep foundation over the top.

    2. Fill in your brows. Choose an eyebrow pencil that's the same color, or, if you're a blonde or a redhead and have very pale brows, one shade darker than your natural brow color. Using light strokes, gently color over your brows to add emphasis.

    3. Choose your shades. For this look, you need a light shadow, a medium shadow, and a dark. It doesn't matter what they are so long as they go together. Try ivory, dove gray, and charcoal on cool skins; taupe, beige, and chocolate brown on warm. Dust the lightest shade across the whole of your eye, lid, and socket.

    4. Now, take the medium shade and apply this tot he eye socket and the outer corner. Blend well using your finger.

    5. Take the darkest shade and, using your sponge applicator, apply a thin line of this along the top lid and around the bottom as close to the lashes as you can get. Blend this well with another applicator or a Q-tip to create a smudgy line. Finally, apply your mascara.

    ~How to Apply Lipstick

    1. Apply Vaseline, then use a soft toothbrush to remove dead skin cells, brushing gently in small circles.

    2. Apply your foundation as you normally would, making sure you lightly cover you lips too.

    3. Apply lip liner that matches either your lips or your lipstick exactly. To apply it straight, rest your little finger on your chin and press the flattest side of the liner point on the middle of your upper lip. Draw to the corner, sticking it just inside the natural line of your lips. Once completed, line the rest of the lips with the pencil.

    4. Apply your lipstick with a lip brush, blending again from the middle down to teh corners of the mouth. If you're using a very bright color, make sure you go right into the corners.

    5. Blot with tissue. Now reapply another coat of lipstick. Blot again. Add lip sealant or gloss if desired.Eye make-up tips for brown eyes going to a dance?
it all depends. if its formal or casual. i have dark brown eyes and we can wear about any color! YAY! but if its casual try going with earth tones like browns tans and bronzeish. if its formal or semi-formal or if you feel like it take the main color your wearing ( or the color of your dress) and find an eyeshadow that gets as close to the color your wearing. so take a white eyeshadow and put it on your eye right beneath your brow. this highlights your eyes. then on the lid brush the main color that your using and brush it all over your lower lid stopping at the crease. then blend. or if you have a slightly darker color than the one on your lid after add the darker color onto the outside corner of the crease of your eye and take that about half way in the crease. make sure the the outside is the darkest. hope this helped. have fun at your dance.
I'm assuming you have dark hair and not pale-ish skin- You can always go to like Sephora or MAC and have them do your make-up for you. I would probably use MAC mascara- I use plush Lash Black- but yeah no matter what you do stay dark, especially if you want that like smokey/sexy look :)

I'd recommend dark grayish eye shadow, the blackest eye-liner you can find, and the black mascara to match. Another good mascara is the Neutrogena Healthy one- idk what it's called exactly you could find it in a drug store it's in like a plastic long silver tube.

    good luck! :)
I would do a little bit of the royal blue eyeliner on your lower lid, this really helps to make your eyes pop! (especially if you're wearing blue)

then add a bit of eyeshadow to your top lid, (try to do the color of your dress or top, but don't do a lot, just do a light amount)

then do your mascara, just do a little on the top and bottom, keep it looking natural.

then i would just do dabs of foundation, so that you can just cover the blemishes!

    Best of luck!

    I hope i helped!
definitely go with a really nice sparkly green colour. emerald or a darker green would look really nice on you, also shows some of the festive spirit! use it more towards the outer corners of your eyes and then add a lighter bronze or golden shade in the inner corners or your eyes and blend them so there's a nice trasition between the two. then i'd go with a nice highlight underneath your brow and the tear ducts. can't go wrong with some nice black eyeliner and a sweep of black mascara to finish it off! hope i helped :)
A subtle gold shadow with a dark brown or black liner on the top lid. Extend the line outwards for a ';cat-eye'; look. That's always cute!

Or, you can try some glittery brown-gold eyeliner from Urban Decay, which was featured in this month's Seventeen.

Another cute, quirky look would be to line your eyes in bright teal, top and bottom lid. That will make your brown (and slightly green) eyes pop!
You have the same eyes as me. I use deep purples with black eyeliner and smudge in for a smokey look, presto for

smouldery sexy eyes! Colours can also depend on what colour your dress would be. Forget blues with browny greeny eyes. XXX
Having hazel eyes myself my advice is to choose either purple or green eyeliner/eyeshadow and brownish black mascara.
Hope your eyes enjoy the dance. lol!
    green eyeshadows or grey

Does anyone know any sites that give eye make up tips for different eye shapes?

What are some good eye make up tips for brown eyes?

i've been wearing the same kind of make up for awhile and i just want to try something new. what are some looks i can try? i want to make my eyes seem lighter and bring out the gold in them. also, i like to make my eyes look bigger and less round.

if you know any other looks that might not be specifically for brown eyes or that you think would look good, that would also be helpful. What are some good eye make up tips for brown eyes?
    I am a makeup artist.

This question has been asked numerous times here, I feel like i'm repeating myself. Please check the answers before posting questions.

To make eyes appear bigger, use LIGHTER shades on your lids, such as gold, light pinks or bright purples. DONT line your entire eye or it will close it up! Try using a white or light beige shadow on the inner corners of your eyes and on your brow bones to open them up. To bring out the gold, use it's complimentary color, PURPLE.

I am re-posting an answer to a similar question:

';Because your eyes are brown to begin with, NEVER use a brown liner!!! Using colors in the same hue range as your eye color will make you look ';washed out';.

If you have dark eyes, I would suggest using a light purple or blue on the lid, and a darker purple or blue in the crease, with a dark purple liner on the inner corner to about 3/4 out. Use black liner on the very outter edge of the eye. A very dark plum or Black mascara would finish the look. If you want it more natural, skip the shadow.

If you have light brown eyes, all you need is a very dark plum eyeliner applied from the inner edge to outter edge on the top lid (along lash line), smudged up and outward. You could use Mac's Fluidline in Macroviolet (it's very easy to blend, and once it dries it doesn't budge). Then re-line the upper lash line with a thin black liner, and finish w/ black mascara. You could also use a dark purple shadow, instead of the purple liner, such as Mac's Nocturnelle or Graphology shadows.

A light yellow-gold shimmery shadow would also work with dark brown eyes. Mainly, your colors are Purple, Plum, Light-to-Medium Blues, Mauves, and Pink/Yellow-Based Golds. Dark eyes need lighter colors, light eyes need darker colors to make them pop.';What are some good eye make up tips for brown eyes?
I read the makeup artist's answer and she is right. Never use brown eyeliner, use black. She is very right on her answer but I also have brown eyes and I sometimes go dark. Dark gray on the lid lighter gray under the brow and then black on the cornes and top the black with a dark blue then use black liner on top,go thin with the liner and don't use liquid, and bottom lashes not on the inside and use the blue to trace the black liner on the bottom, keep the blue though close to the bottom lash line. I think it looks pretty to go deep sometimes with brown eyes but not all the time, just maybe on a date or something. Other than that she is right about eveything else. Have fun and if you need to, go to the mall and let the makeup girls help you:)

    Permanent make up?

no thanks I watched a show the other week with a woman who did the eyes %26amp; with lots of black on top %26amp; under the lids well now she is older %26amp; she looks so rough %26amp; horrible with the makeup cause shes older I guess people do not take that into consideration with they get it done...Permanent make up?
I think they call those tattoosPermanent make up?
Don't think its a good idea.

Your skin changes...stretches and stuff... and it always looks bad and tacky as you get older. not a good idea to take the lazy way out. lol
I personally do not think it is wise, makeup styles and trends are all ways changing, just look at old family pictures or old magazine pictures

I wouldn't want to be stuck with old fashioned makeup

    KassyPermanent Make-up??
i think its a good idea ..just go to a very professional place dont just go where u dont know find people who have got theres done and ask them where they go it done (if u like the way it looks on them)...at first your lips will be very swollen and you wont be able to talk very much ..the color at first is going to be different maybe darker..SO0 dont worry when you see it looks darker than what you wanted ..the color will fade but not fast and not much .....just go get it re-done if u think it faded to much....when u get it it will bleed but not alot...i saw my aunt get her's done ..SO0 i know alot about this ...she also has her eyebrows and eyeliner tattooed n it looks really pretty..Permanent Make-up??
keep the lips you have. Don't you think itll be the teensyest bit embarrassing to tell your bf that you had your lips tattooed on? Not trying to be rude, but you probably are very pretty now! lip tattoos won't make it any better.
It's a better idea to get them outlined than collagen thats for sure

just make sure you realize that it's a permanent tattoo type thing... and the color might kinda change/fade over time..
    It is a good idea.

But keep in mind it will fade a bit
by outlined do u mean tattooed?
only if your over the age of 80..haha...my grandma does that
Bad idea. Skin tones change as we age. And makeup trends also change. Good luck though.
Please don't do this. That permanent lip line look is not cute. Spend time using a lip outliner pen that will seal the lip liner pencil in and keep your lipstick from running.
That is like a makeup artists worse nightmare. If the tattoo artist were to get a bit carried away and it were to look unnatural you'd be screwed. Also it would be obvious you had the permenent makeup if your lips were to get chapped and change color.

    Permanent make-up??....?

Is this stuff like a tattoo? And can it cause skin cancer???Permanent make-up??....?
Why would you wear permanent makeup?Permanent make-up??....?
Yeah, Permanent make-up is a tattoo, as far as I know. And As for skin cancer, I don' t think so?

I mean, I'm guessing that if it would, then so would tattoo's in general, right?

so yeah, I don't think it does. :)
    HIya

Yeah they basically tattoo it on. Its the same method anyway.

My aunie had it done for eyeliner. Looks good.... but not so good if you ever want to change your look etc...

and... what if they dont do it how you want it!!!

Your better off getting lash tints n eyebrow re shaping etc as this will groom your face and make you look more made up even when your not.

    X
its called a cosmetic tattoo...a friend of mine had her eyebrows done and im thinking of doing it too..dont believe it causes skin cancer unless all tattoos cause cancer..the reason for me wanting permanent eye brows...years ago they were burned off during a small fire
There's permenant eye liner, eye brow things, and i thing lip stick.

I had a friend move in a week ago because I live closer to the school, and I brought up making it permanent..?

But now I just want my house back. I liked living alone, and I feel it's a little too crowded right now. I want my solitude and my space back. I want a sanctuary to go to where I can hide away from the world and not have to worry about anything or anyone else. What can I do :( I want my place back :( When he moved in, the first day, I said something about *If you want to make it permanent, we can move into a 2 bedroom*, because it would have been cheaper, but now I don't mind paying the extra $300 to live on my own. I like it.I had a friend move in a week ago because I live closer to the school, and I brought up making it permanent..?

I would try to find him another place to stay close to the school and tell him one day that you kind of miss having things to yourself but you took the liberty of finding him another place to live. Don't forget to add a nice ';sorry, dude'; at the end.

He will probably move out soon and you can have your house to yourself again.

Your friend will understand so don't spend too much thinking about this and just act already!

    Hope this helps!

    Good luck! :)
Be kind when telling him, like you had no idea what it would be like and got so into helping that you didn't think about how you enjoy your solitude and you don't want him to be angry and you hope he can understand,. Then discuss how long it should be before he moves out and get an exact date otherwise it can go on and on.
luckily your not in too deep just yet, but what you need to do is explain this to him right now, the longer you leave it the worse it will get, just explain how you like being by yourself. etc etc. :) good luck.

    Permanent Make-Up?

Whats permanent make-up? does it really work?Permanent Make-Up?
The only thing I can think of is when people get eyeliner tatooed on their face...or eyeshadow.Permanent Make-Up?
Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eyelining (eye shadows) and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips and eyelids. It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost it as a consequence of old age, disease, such as alopecia, chemotherapy or a genetic disturbance, and to disguise scars and white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo. It is also used to restore or enhance the breast's areola, such as after breast surgery.

Other names used are dermapigmentation, micropigmentation, permanent cosmetics and cosmetic tattooing. These procedures are regulated in many countries and states, some of them requiring a registered professional, such as an esthetician, dermatologist or plastic surgeon to perform it. In the United States and other countries, the inks used in permanent makeup and the pigments in these inks are subject to FDA regulation as cosmetics and color additives.
My cousin (a woman in her early 40's) got the lip liner and she describe it as extremely painful. It's like getting a tattoo on a sensitive part of your body like your lips or eye area. as someone with tattoos that doesn't sound fun to me- but yeah I would say it would work and last.
PERMANENT MEANS IT WILL HAVE TO STAY THERE FOREVER.....I WOULD NOT TRUST IT AT ALL.....YOU HAVE TO THINK OF STYLES CHANGING, NEW MAKE UP, NEW HAIR COLORS,,,,,,,,,WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU ALREADY HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THAT PERMANENT AND THE COLORS OR SOMETHING ELSE CHANGES.....YES,.......YOU`LL BE PERMANENTLY MARKED.....
only permenant make up is tattooed on. i ahve seen it done, it looks pretty real. they also tattoo eyebrows so you don't have to get them waxed.
Its permanent because it is tattooed on. Its does work though.
yes it works thay tattoo it on ( =
Permanent make up is tattooed on your skin... lip liner or eye liner for example. Yes, it really works... it stays on forever, but I wouldn't do it.... it looks creepy when you don't have any other make up on.
    eyeliner last ..lip liner fades
Permanent make-up is where they tattoo your eye-liner, blush, they can do your eyebrows and your lipstick. It works. However, my old boss did that, in the beginning it was so bright it was disturbing. It did not look good at all. Over time it started to fade, and we all got used to it. But getting over the first shock was really hard.
The way I understand it permanent make-up is a tattoo.

I have heard of people having eyeliner put on permanently so they don't have to put it on everyday. They wake up with their eyeliner done.

It sounds like a Big commitment to wear your make-up the same way everyday.....forever.
    Yeah. Almost like plastic surgery.
My mom got this permanent makeup a while back. It's tattooing, just ... as a beauty product.

It works, but you have to get it touched up every 6-8 weeks for the first year, or it fades. My mom unfortunately only saved up for the first round, and never could afford the after treatments, so hers eventually faded away.
    tatooed makeup
yea my freind's mom has eyeliner tattooed on it looks good
permanent make-up is basically getting color tattooed on your face. So yes, obviously it would work since tattoos are permanant. The only downfall is you have to wear the same color for the rest of your life. I used to work with a lady that had this done.
Since I am the the 400th person to answer this question, I'm guessing you already know that it's tattooed on. However, I don't think people realize that it's a subtle thing. It's not like you will have big blue eyelids and pink lips for the rest of your life. The lines are soft, and can EASILY be covered up by regular old makeup.

So... if your style were to change, you can easily apply your own makeup to cover what's permanently been applied. My old vocal teacher from many years ago had hers done, and she constantly went without makeup, so I saw just the ';permanent'; makeup. She had a light blue eyeliner on her top and bottom lids, and a soft pink lip liner on. She actually looked very pretty, even on her blah days!

It's just a way to make your everyday routine a little less high maintenance, and I for one, am appreciative of it.

    Permanent make up?

Would you have it done?Permanent make up?
No. My Aunt had it done and it has started taking on that weird green colour that old tatoos have. Nothing natural about it. I like wearing make up but also enjoy the fresh natural look. It would annoy me if I could not take it off!Permanent make up?
I have 2 friends that had permanent eyeliner tatooed around their eyes. They always look great after a swim or early in the morning. They both said it was extremely sore. It apparently fades after 10 years. It takes me 20 seconds to put make up on, it is really not that much of a hassle to me. I am a bit of a sissie, do not think I will ever have it done.
erm. i'd have my eyelashes tinted like made darker as my mums had this before (for free off my auntie cos she did it) and it looked nice but considering the prices they charge i wouldnt pay shop prices to have it done, not a chance!
No thanks, i just know that will hurt more than the tattoo i have on my arm
Nope. Wheres the fun in that?

    What is permanent make-up?!?

ok, so i've seen it in ads and stuff but i was wondering where can it be done and isn't it TERRIBLE for ur skin!? o, n how much is it and is it really... permanent!? thanxs! What is permanent make-up?!?
    no its not terrible.

Ive my eyes and my brows done.

looks very natural. yep its permanent. first time I had it done 2 years ago, and coulpe days ago had the 'rocovery/reconstruction lol) done. looks great.

mine was kinda expensive I paid about 1300$ for the eyes and 2000$ for the browns. but its actually cheaper in other places. it doesnt hurt. exc when ur having ur eyes done the whole process is kinda ticklish.

oh yep and the darker the colour - the longer it stays.

my brows are done in chocolate brown and it stayed fresh for like 2 years. it still was I just wanted to change the shape a bit.

and my eyes are done in black so they still look like theyre freshly made lol. permanent make-up should stay on for 2-5-or more+ years. What is permanent make-up?!?
It is tattooed on you. I don't reccomend that and i think the best solution would be to continue putting on your own makeup. there may come a day that you decide to change that makeup because face it, it gets boring. Not to mention when you are older it will sag down and look like a blob, what will you do then its there to stay!
lol its kinda like tatoo. lol it is really permanent and it depends on where u get your makeup permed at. my mom got her eyeliner permed in cali and i think it was about around 100 dollars lol but she did hers about 10 years ago? and its still there ahah its very pretty but it hurts lol
There are lots of places you can get it done and the prices will vary depending on what you're having done. Most commonly done procedures are eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips.

Basically, it's tattoing of said lips, eyebrows, etc. Can range between $100 - $400. It's permanent in the sense that it doesn't come off but usually fades anywhere from a couple of months to a year or so and may need to be re-done.

It can be painful and honestly, I'm not sure why people find it easier than just taking two minutes a day to apply their make-up.
its tattooed onto your skin. My mom has her eyeliner, eyebrows, and lipstick done. My grandma has her eyeliner because she is getting to the point where she cant really see too well to do it herself. You can get this done at a cosmetic doctor i beleive. It is in fact permanent. You may have to go get it retouched a bit like a tattoo but other than that youve got it for life!!
I am a perminat makeup artist and i charge anywere between $200-$600 depending on wiether you want a touch up, eyebrows, eyeliner or lip liner. this procedure is only a little bit painful and lasts about 5-10 years before it fades and you need to ahve it redone!! I recomend it highly!!
    tattooed makeup?
Think about it before you do it!!!!

Remember permanent means it doesn't go away, like ever!!
    Its a bit like tattooing.

They ink in the colours for eyebrows, for example.

    Quite safe.

  • Are there any side effects on having permanent make up?

you know like the tatoo-like lip liner and the eye brow appliccation that last really long and is water and soap proof, does it have any side effects,is it only for middle aged women, how long does it last.

i crave to have my lips permanently lined and my eyebrows done too but i don't know if its ok....Are there any side effects on having permanent make up?
well, i don't know about side affect

but i don't think people should get make up tattooed

honestly are you that lazy that you cant do it yourself and have to have it permanently there?

    not to be mean or anything but ';permanent make up';

is stupid, sorry. Are there any side effects on having permanent make up?
I had a friend do this, and now she always looks like a whore and is not accepted in many churches and church social events.
    (Miku speaking!)

Like physical side effects? You will need to get it touched up every few years.

And will look very strange without lipstick. :P It looks really weird without the make-up.
some people have a bad reaction to the chemicals used

but other than that its fairly safe

How should put make up on your face to be permanent almost for 6 to 8 hours?

i mean about the facial skin, what is the priority of the materials that we should use in make up?which one first?pan cake or cream powder? How should put make up on your face to be permanent almost for 6 to 8 hours?
Well, actually, what really helps is to use a liquid base/foundation first then lightly go over it with a powder. I use the True Match liquid makeup and Bare Natural powder and it lasts ALL DAY. Plus you can also lightly spray your face with aerosol hairspair and it helps keep makeup in place. Good Luck Hon!How should put make up on your face to be permanent almost for 6 to 8 hours?

Has anyone gotten permanent eye/lip make up done?

It seems like a good idea to have the eyeliner done and some color added to the lips. It sure would cut down on the time required to apply the make up every morning, plus the expense of having to purchase it. Any advice would be helpful.Has anyone gotten permanent eye/lip make up done?
    don't do it!

i strongly reccomend you read this article:Has anyone gotten permanent eye/lip make up done?
I have a friend who had that done and she regret it. It wasn't done the way she want it; actually she picked the color she wanted but it turned out different on her lips. So think very hard before doing it. I think it better spend longer time applying make up in the morning than pay money for something that not going to work.
i took the classes and paid for the entire system just so i could do my own. it probably hurt more to do it myself, but i don't trust anyone else with tattooing my FACE.

i did natural colors so all i need is lip gloss; or i can do regular makeup application over it.

i love it; but it's not for everyone.
A friend of mine did. She regrets it. She paid too much money and it looks bad. Goo luck

I am researching permanent eye make-up (eye liner) and I would like input from other women who have had this.?

I know a woman who had this done to her eyebrows. After several years, her permanet makeup looked really purple. I also know another woman who got permanet lipstick. The lipstick did not take.

Neither woman was happy with the result.I am researching permanent eye make-up (eye liner) and I would like input from other women who have had this.?
woww. ive heard of people getting eyeliner tattoed to themselvesI am researching permanent eye make-up (eye liner) and I would like input from other women who have had this.?
ya i have herd of that but i dont think you should get it. its much easier and less expensive to just put on eyelinder. and would if they mess up, or it doesnt look good? then its there FOREVER! i saw this lady who got it done at the salon and she said it hurt really bad too. i dont think u should get it.
don't do it. my friends have had it done and it always looks fake. just wear eyeliner, it's not worth it to get the permanent stuff. it just looks bad.
Well personally I would never get that done. Omg, that just would freak me out, one because I would freak if a needle was that close to my eye. **shudders in horror**. Besides what if I wanna have an eyeliner free day - it's rare for me but I like having no eyeliner sometimes. lmao. And i think it would look weird. Hmm but if people do it, kick ***, more power to them.

    That's my opinion,

    blondie.

What can be done if you do not like the way a permanent make-up application looks?

While at the mall I saw a sign for permanent make-up applications. The list included eye liner and eye brow pencil. I have put eye liner on every day and it hardly ever comes out the same exact way every time. Some days I really like the way it went on that day and other days I feel like removing it and starting over. I like the idea of having it permanently on but what happens if you don't like the way it went on? Is it like tatooed on?What can be done if you do not like the way a permanent make-up application looks?
I'm not sure if what they're advertising is the same thing I've seen, but yes, it's tattooed on. Some spas offer this...it's really semi-permanent, the ink can last anywhere from 6 months to 7 years! I think the eye liner is just a thin line tattooed on for daily wear, nothing fancy. And I wouldn't dabble with tattooed brows, they look fake and I don't prefer the way the end product looks.

My suggestion: go check out the business. I'm sure they have a portfolio and plenty of time to give you a consultation if you're interested. What can be done if you do not like the way a permanent make-up application looks?
no its not tattooed i have permanent makeup and all you have to do is get eye removal pads and wipe it off then wash your face and start over it works out.

    Hope this helps
    yes, it is permanent.

  • Laser removal of permanent make up? Are there other options?

I made a huge mistake and had permanent makeup put on to cover up my under eye circles. The makeup lady went beyond the dark part and into the skin beyond that. That formed a white ridge from the inner tip of the eye to the outer tip. I have huge half moons under my eyes now. It looks hideous. It doesn't look blended and it looks rough and scaly. It has been a week since I had this done.

After that debacle I went to a skin institute and they recommended the C02 Laser Fraxel Repair. They want to laser my whole face! I would prefer to just get the ridge removed and not have my whole face an open wound. Plus, they don't know how the laser will react to the ink on my under eyes. I have a peaches and cream complexion and want to keep it that way. I am scared of scarring and laser tracks on the face. I would prefer another option. My question is, who has had this done to their whole face and what were the results...good and bad. Also, are there any fading agents out there that are truly effective that I could use to remove some of the ink.

Does anyone else find permanent makeup desperate? Tattooing make up on your face?

I personally don't like the idea myself because styles and types of makeup change over the years and if a woman has it permanently tattooed on her face, it will show very quickly approximately when she had it done. Outdated styles of makeup can really show a woman's age. Does anybody really want to continue walking around with overpainted lips (popular in the 1940s), black arched eyebrows (popular in the 1950s) heavy black eye makeup (popular in the 1960s) or outlined lips (popular in the 1990s)?Does anyone else find permanent makeup desperate? Tattooing make up on your face?
It's beyond desperate, its insane vanity. There was a news story a couple of years ago when a woman went to an UNLICENSED (if there even is such a thing as a licensed one) make-up salon. The 'employee' tattooed two new giant and thick PERMANENT 'eyebrows' on her TWO INCHES ABOVE her natural eyebrows (shaved off before she went, I think) and when her natural ones grew in she looked like a bad alien from Twilight Zone with FOUR eyebrows. It was hideous and the woman didn't know what to do! It was HORRIBLE. But that's what you get for being lazy and not wanting to put make-up on and take it off your face. Just the idea of tattooing make-up on is scary. Not only that but make-up styles change and go back and forth between decades (1960s and NOW) and much of the time make-up styles go back to natural looking. Ai yi yi!Does anyone else find permanent makeup desperate? Tattooing make up on your face?
Why would it be desperate? It's just taking a cosmetic task that, presumably, the person does daily or close to daily, and makes it so it doesn't have to be maintained or redone any more.

Do you find laser-eye surgery (as opposed to putting contacts in every day) 'desperate?'
Well it sure saves a lot of time cause you don't have to bother with putting on make up everyday. But what if you changed your mind and wanted a different look? Then you're stuck with it. Personally I'd never do it. I guess most ppl would do it to save a lot of time like some ppl have surgery to remove hair so they dont have to shave anymore.
That's weird. Tattoos are extremely unattractive when your skin gets wrinkly. Concealer, eyeliner, and lipstick is all the makeup anyone needs, if any at all.
No more so than a tattoo or any other permanent marking with significance or value to the person choosing it.
No odder than makeup, or tattooing. If it saves time and makes the wearer feel beautiful, then it doesn't bother me.
    Desperate? no. Weird looking? Yeah.
Is it desperate to wear it too? Or because it washes off, that's well within the realm of okcool? =/
My wife has it and she's a whole lot nicer to wake up next too.

is it possible to get semi-permanent makeup (foundation) to cover this problem?

%26amp; if it's possible, do you think that semi-permanent under-eye color would get tan if i did? or would i just have to try my best to stay one color so it would look normalSemi-permanent make up?
I have never heard of permanent makeup, and I'm sure most others haven't either. I researched it and found this site that can probably answer most of your questions. I don't think the makeup would tan like your natural skin does. Sun exposure may cause some discoloration, but then it probably wouldn't return to its original color. I think it would be similar to how old foundation can change color.

The make up artist said she would tattoo a line right above my own lip and lower lip for $300(good/bad?) which includes a free touch up...has anyone done this? Can I see pics? I have tattoos and i know it will hurt...im 20 years young, olive skin, and very aware that skin will sag when older, but by then there will be solutions! Please provide me with details and ups and downs, websites, etc. include age pleez if personal experience.

Don't get me wrong, I love tattoos. But I've never liked the idea of the permanent makeup tattoos. All it takes is a small tremor of the hand, and bam, you have a permanent mistake tattooed on your face. It's your choice, but I'm just hoping you'll give this a little more consideration.
injections. tattoos are a bad idea and painful
DO NOT DO TATTOOS lol you'll hate your self later, not for all tattoos, im just talkin about lipliner, plus it'll probably end up looking tacky, try lip plumping gloss, then if that doesn't work, injections, but whatever you do, don't do the tattoo

How long does ';permanent'; eye make up actually last?

i had eyebrows + liner tattooed on in thailand 18 months ago and it still looks great. will it stay on all my life like a regular tattoo? How long does ';permanent'; eye make up actually last?
I have my eyebrows tattooed in ';dark brown'; back in December of 2004 ... 4 years later they are still visible up close but people can't really see them unless they stare at my forehead or if i point it out since the ink is blending with my skin. I don't mind it since i can still keep the shape of my eyebrows and they do help to fill in even if they are light.

I plan to have them redone soon since they're lighter .... so it's a good thing they fade because you can always try a different color or shape.

So they'll stay dark for like 2 years and from there on they will get lighterHow long does ';permanent'; eye make up actually last?
It depends really like eyeliner and eyebrows last up to 1 year and lipliner and gloss lasts 2 and a half years.
it is a regular tattoo - the colour will fade a bit, but will stay forever, as far as I know.
    yes it is suppose to.
no unfortunately it only lasts about 5 years depending on how much they used
depends on how much u wash ur face and

i'm looking for a place to get my eyebrows tattooed(- san bernardino ,CA and surrounding cities) since they are light and i'm tired of having to do my eyebrows (i try to do them as natural as possible, not just using a pencil which makes them look so fake) every single day! or are there any alternatives or tips so they won't come off since i'm going swimming tomorrow (even though last time i used liquid band aid on my eyebrows and they stayed on the whole day!)....thnx in advance!!!!Permanent make up or alternative?
My 50 year old gramma got her eyeliner done and she is so happy and shes had it almost 10 years. They say eyebrow styles change, I've never changed the way I do them, but apparently sometimes they are thick and sometimes they are thin. If you don't change your style, then I would go for it. Find a good quality person, do lots of research, and get references.Permanent make up or alternative?
ull regret it both my sisters did it and they look out dated
I have seen people get their eyebrows lightened before if they were too harsh and stood out different than their hair colour, so I wound recommend you die them darker with permanent hair dye. You probably only have to do this once very few weeks. Don't tattoo! They may not turn out they way you want and then you will be stuck. Hope this helps!!

No way, you have no idea what will be instyle in 10 years, why limit yourself? And your skin tone changes as you get older so it may look really bad then.
Heck no. Because then, I'd never be able to change my look, like for special occasions or anything. I'd probably look pretty stupid by the time I turn 80, too.
no. styles change and you would be stuck w/ it

I know people who have had it done. Some had dreadful allergic reactions, and are still trying to get it corrected. I also know people who had it done, and it faded fairly quickly, so they have had to get it done again. Then, of course if it doesn't cause an allergic reaction and it doesn't fade, you will still age and your permanent makeup will stretch as your skin wrinkles. Don't forget the style issue - have you ever laughed at photos of relatives (or yourself) from years past? Do you want to look in the mirror and see a face that was in style 10 years ago?

    Permanent Make up while pregnant?

I wanted to know how safe is it to have permanent make up (Lips %26amp; eye brows) done while pregnant? Please advice.

    Thanks,Permanent Make up while pregnant?
Hold off my dear until after the baby. It is possible that you could have an allergic reaction which can cause constriction of blood vessels. By constricting blood vessels (which occurs during an allergic reaction) you run the risk of whatever blood borne allergen or infection going to your child. Sometimes these permanent make up colors contain lead or mercury.

I would suggest you not do it. Even wearing regular cosmetics can introduce toxins into your blood as well.

I definitely would advise against it. However, the choice is up to you. Until then here is some literature you should check out.

    Have a healthy delivery.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ink gets in your blood stream and it can harm the baby. My doctor wouldn't even let me get my teeth cleaned while I was pregnant. Wait and do it after you have the baby.

  • Has anyone ever had semi permanent make up? if so what did u think of it and where did u get it done?

I have my eyeliner and full lips tattooed on and I love it. It's quite expensive but totally worth it. My eyeliner is done in fairly thin lines, both top and bottom and it looks very natural, there are no thick harsh eyeliner lines. My lips were extremely pale and I didn't want a lot of color, just wanted a lil bit so I didn't look like a ghost. My lips also look very natural, no reds or pinks, just a hint of color that I use a clear gloss over. I love it!!

I had my eyes and lips done at a salon. If you get your lips done and you are prone to cold sores/fever blisters you'll need to call your doctor and have them prescribe something so you don't break out. the blisters can cause the pigment to not take. And also be aware that it might take several 30-45 min. sessions for your lips to attain full color.

Also remember it does hurt. The eyes hurt really bad, especially at the corners, both top and bottom. Lips don't hurt as bad, but there are several spots that are uncomfortable.

Another funny thing about getting your make-up tattooed on is where you are in your menstral cycle. The closer to ovulation and bleeding you are the worse it hurts (or so I've been told by several women who perform these procedures). Whatever you decide to do, remember less is better. It's easier to add to a thickness of a line than it is to take away after the pigment has been deposited under the skin. Most applications are a 2 step process, so you can add to lips/eyes in the second application. Heal time for me was about 3 days on my eyeliner and almost a week on my lips. Good luck!!Has anyone ever had semi permanent make up? if so what did u think of it and where did u get it done?
TOP OF THE LINE SALONS..YES ITS BIENG DONE NOW..IT WILL COSY YOU...Has anyone ever had semi permanent make up? if so what did u think of it and where did u get it done?
Never had it done and most certainly wouldnt after seeing Lea from big brothers eyebrows!!
    from beautiparlour
My cousin plucked her eyebrows till they would not grow back so she had them tatoo new ones on her face. It looks really good and if you did not know, you can not tell they are tatoos.
I know 2 women who have had this done. One had her eyebrows tatoo'd , the other had the outline of her lips done. Both looked really unnatual so I didn't bother to find out where it was done.
my mom has her eyebrow done. you cannot tell they are fake. looks very good. Got it done at an expensive hairdressers in the south of England!
yeah and I still look like I should be on the Black and White minstrel show.

Permanent make- up, a good idea?

Did you have this done? How did it go? What did you have done?Permanent make- up, a good idea?
Makeup and permanant just doesnt go together for me, not only would i be out of a job but if you're anything like me and get bored of a certain makeup look very quickly then what do u do with the permanant makeup? You cant wipe it off you just kinda have to deal with it.

Also the word ';Permanant'; isnt completely true as it is only supposed to last about 5 years and the makeup fades in sunlight.

Imagine if it went wrong? or if you wernt happy with the outcome?

Tattoo removal is extremely expensive and painful.

I understand getting dermapigmentation if you have alopecia or if you have lost eyebrows during chemotherapy but if not then i think regular makeup is always going to be a winner.

There is always the chance of complications such a scarring, allergic reaction, peeling, blistering, infection and skin cracking.

If you have trouble in applying makeup and thats the reason for contemplating dermapigmentation then i do understand but a makeup artist could show you a simple and easy way to apply your makeup.

Please do your researsh if you do decide you want it as the cosmetic tattooing industry isnt regulated in many areas and you could find yourself getting tattooed by somebody with no qualifications whatsoever.

Hope this is some helpPermanent make- up, a good idea?
I wouldn't do it. Trends come and go, you age and things don't look as good as they did before, ect. I wouldn't do permanent makeup because unlike a tattoo, there's really no way to know whether you'll like looking that way forever.

The idea seems convenient since it will take less time to get ready and everything, but you can't have as much fun with your makeup as you would otherwise.
no definatley dont get prminant make up done

because think about when you turn 60 or 80 do u still want that make up

and during the summer if u get tanner the foundation wont match ull have a whiter face and a tanner body

and tat would be really weird no offence though

my grandma has permannt eye liner and she said she wishes she didnt get it done because its wearing off in some places

sometimes you can get temporary make up

but i would just wake up earlier to get everything done

go o a perfesionalist to get some ideas to

    goodluck ((:
    Hi,

Permanent make up is not at all recommendable. It does not lasts longer and will lead more expensive in the long run.

Rather you should use the natural tips to keep your skin, hairs healthy and also good make up which is natural and suit your skin.

Check out this link, I found the website very interesting. You may find answers to your questions on makeups.
I would never have permanent make-up done in my life! Permanent make-up in my opinion is a waste of time, money, and your face. God made you like he did for a reason. (aka you're beautiful the way you are) If you get a tan, your make-up will be affected as it will when you are a senior. It is best to just stick with make-up. And what if a year or 10 years now you don't want that make-up? You'll only be wearing more to cover up what you did to yourself!

I agree with someone who answered this, your skin will crack. My cousin's friend had it done. And it could turn out like a tatoo and you'll be infected =(
i think it depends on what you get done.

like if you get eyeliner,(im using that because i always wanted to get that done)

of course its going to hurt,

but it might be worth it.

but its like always going to be there.

    like when your 60,

are you still going to want to wear eyeliner.

    good luck.

no dont do permanent makeup it looks pretty for about an year and then your skin starts to crack,,,,my anuty did this last year and now her face has gone much worse then before, if you really want makeup then just put normal ones on every morning and if you dont have time then just wake up early but believe me dont get permanent makeup
Permanent make up isn't good, because when you get older your skin will sag and so will the eyeliner, and it hurts a lot when you get it done.

    Hope That Helped!
Well, if you're a boy - then perhaps it would be a good idea. For a girl...I'd really say NO.

It turns disgusting in a few years and you have to renew it. Seriously, don't.
You can get the semi-permanent makeup done..it lasts like 3 years.

I would only get foundation though..
I would advise against it im sure you will regret it afterward. Not a good idea.
My neigbour got her eyeliner tatooed on, think of what you will look like when you're a grandma though?

lol good luck if you decide to (:

Permanent make-up - what parts of the face can it be done on. e.g. eyes, lips and where else on the face?

eyeliner, eyebrows, lips(outline %26amp; full), adding a mole, and in some cases they can do skin camouflagePermanent make-up - what parts of the face can it be done on. e.g. eyes, lips and where else on the face?
eyebrows.... but its the worst thing you can do... DONT do itPermanent make-up - what parts of the face can it be done on. e.g. eyes, lips and where else on the face?
Don't do it. When you get old and wrinkled, it looks horrible.
Eyes, lips, eyebrows, lip liner, eye shadow and blush I think.
Eye liner and lips definitely. Also, eye lashes can be ';permed'; if yours are straight.
i have heard of eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip liner.
Eyebrows, eyes, lips...that's all that I've seen done.
Well, they can draw up anything on ur face, but strictly the regular make up tattoo regime? Eyeliner, lips, eyebrows. They can make a mole, also camou up some skin in you have a birth mark or somethign you're not very happy with.

P.S.%26gt;%26gt; If you're thinking of doing it, I don't recomend it because it looks really bad!

  • Has anyone had semi-permanent make-up?

Can you tell me what you had done, and if you were happy with itHas anyone had semi-permanent make-up?
I had eyeliner and eyebrows done about 3 yrs. ago. It wasn't painful. The healing took about a week. Like with any tatoo you have to keep it covered with Vaseline and it will scab over. There was some initial swelling of the eyes that can be lessened with the application of ice on day one. I had very light natural eyebrows and was tired of drawing them on. I love the permanent make-up. You always look pulled together. The eyeliner is nice too - because sometimes you just can't get the lines the same on both eyes. So now it's there perfect every time. I'm seriously considering getting the lipliner. You must go to someone with a good reputation in a sterile atomosphere. It's well worth the money. If you want to look at pictures try these websites: Mirinka Cosmetics or Forever Beautiful. Good Luck and stay beautiful.Has anyone had semi-permanent make-up?
I have had my eye lashes tinted in the past, you have to go for an allergy test the day before. Its a really quick and painless process and your eye lashes look amazing, you look like you have got mascara on when you get out of bed, for a glam night out you can also add mascara, i am sure you can imagine how fab your eyes look!
Yes, I got my eyebrows done just this year. It is quite uncomfortable and you must keep still while the technician works. I found that my eyes just kept watering and I had a strong feeling I was going to sneeze till it was over! There is some swelling after, and you must resist the urge to pick at the scabs until they fall off by themselves pretty much, but Vaseline helps with that one. I was very pleased with the result. If you are considering getting a procedure done, I would say definately go for it. If you are in the UK, I can give you a contact number for H %26amp; H Cosmetic Medicine, where you can get any further answers to put your mind at rest. It is 01992 627421. Good luck!!
My sister had tattoo makeup on her lips looked disgusting for years she had to shell out lots of money to get rid of it.
    DONT DO IT!

    disaster area!

my friend had her eyebrows done now she hates the shape (fashion changes) and its a hideous colour.

    That bad is it?
    nope sry........

Can i use acne creams with permanent make up?

Of course you can. It's not easy to ruin permanent make-up since the pigmentation is inside your skin, that's why it is called permanent make-up, isn't it?

You can use whatever you want. Day creams, sun creams, moisturizers anything. Hence if you don't like it some day you can cover it and put new make-up over it. Make-up is magic, it does magical things and it's fun. I personally don't like permanent make-up that much. I'm a make-up artist (I'm a guy ), I don't wear the make-up but I would NEVER put permanent make-up on myself if I was a girl.

    Anyway that's off the road...

Do you have any good acne creams? May I recommend you good anti-acne product? Try ClearPores, they have great system to get rid of acne permanently ! Like your make-up lol...

here is the link to their website: http://www.clearpores.com/clicks/clickth鈥?/a>

    Permanent make up?

I have thin skin under my eyes so part of some veins show. I have to cover it with really heavy concealer, and if I use any light concealer it won't work (trust me I've tried everything)

There are laser treatments for veins on other parts of the body, but since we are talking about under my eyes that is risky and I am not willing to risk hurting my eyes.

Will permanent make up be able to correct this? I know they do scar camouflages, so could they do this or they can't go over a vein?

    ThanksPermanent make up?
I am not so sure about permanent make-up. Maybe you are not using the correct type of concealer. Look at Motives cosmetics at marketamerica.com/ginsglow.Permanent make up?
Well my grandma has here eye liner tattooed on and shes fine... so i'm pretty sure you will be fine. Your eyes will be all puffy and red the next day... thats normal.
When my aunt starting doing permanent makeup she wanted me to be a model and i would have got it done for free but at the time i was only 22 and all i could think about was that i would never be able to wash this makeup off my face you know? and then i always always wear my makeup different so if i wanted to look natural i couldnt do that with a solid black liner under my eyes, so all im saying is think about it long and hard cause its going to stay on your face forever, and since we aretalking about literally needles under your eyes that is also taking a big risk on your eyes. Hoped i helped.

Has anyone had semi-permanent make up done eg eyeliner and eyebrows and what did you think of it?

I had semi permenant mascara and eye liner a couple of years ago. I loved it but needed to boost it a little for nights out! Just make sure that you go through exactly what you want before you get it done! i would def recommend it tho, it saved me so much make up time!Has anyone had semi-permanent make up done eg eyeliner and eyebrows and what did you think of it?
It doesn't hurt much...just a little tinkly feeling for they eyeliner part....Has anyone had semi-permanent make up done eg eyeliner and eyebrows and what did you think of it?
There is no such thing as a semi-permanent tattoo. If that's what you're talking about, look more into the lasting effects.
I've never had any of that done, but i know people who have. the eyliner and mascara is good, but I personally don't like the way the eyebrows look, though.

Permanent make-up, what do you think?

ANYONE HERE HAVE TACTOO THEIR EYE-BROWS? IF SO, WHERE CAN I GET IT DONE AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA?

    PS.

SO TIRED OF DRAWING MY EYEBROW........WOULD A PERMANENT FIX, BE BETTER?Permanent make-up, what do you think?
That is one of the worse ideas I have ever heard. What if they get it wrong? Your stuck with it, it's permanent. Let your eyebrows grow back in, don't pluck them for a couple of months and then go to see a really good brow stylist. You won't have to draw them on if you stop plucking them.Permanent make-up, what do you think?
Don't think so. At some point in your life, you may want it removed. It will still leave a mark.
i have permanent make-up for my eye brows, eyeliner and lips. it was the best thing i ever did. i don't know what it costs in southern california-i live on the gulf coast of texas and it was about $1200.00 total. good luck!
What are you going to do when you get older and the colours that go with your complexion change???
    Don't do it!

I worked in a nursing home for 13 years and the little ladies that had the permanent makeup like your talking about looked horrible. They were pail as ghost with dark eyebrows, eyeliners, and red lips. DON';T DO IT! YOU WILL REGRET IT! Especially when your Grand kids say you scare them.
I don't have the tat brows, but I have investigated them and you may try the same. Do a web search of salons and permanent makeup and try local. I'm sure prices vary for this service....so shopping for a price may become the next search.

I like the look, but I'm not sure I can deal with the permanent part, that kind of scares me!

Good luck with that and I hope the new looks work for you. =)
It depends on how much style means to you and if you can deal with something permanent. If your into style then I would say no. As of right now the eyebrow style thats hot is somewhat full but not bushy. You make like your eyebrows now but in the future you might like the natural look better. I know from experience asking men personally too they would tell you they favor natural beauty over heavy makeup and styling products. But if you really dont care about style or what others think and you are happy with you eyebrows and know you wont be dissapointed in the future then go for it...the choice is yours.
I wouldn't do it. The ink tends to fade and you have to get touchups done. Also if you dye your hair a light color than what it already is, you won't be able to change the color of your eyebrows and trust me I've seen some girls gone blonde with dark, dark brown eyebrows and it did not look good. I know it is a pain to have to keep drawing them but maybe you should try letting them grow out a bit. Getting permanent makeup tends to age you and does not look too great when you get older.

  • Permanent Make-up, the good the bad?

I am wanting to get permanent eyebrows for the reason that when I was young I over plucked and they never grew back right.

I found a real nice man that has a permanent make-up school and a permanent makeup salon.

He wants to charge me $375, I think thats fair..eyebrows are a huge deal and he said it takes him the most time drawing them on to make sure they are perfect and then tattoos them...

what do you all think of this? Does 375 sound fair?

Has anyone had a BAD experience from permanent makeup??Permanent Make-up, the good the bad?
As far as a bad experience with permanent makeup-look at Michael Jackson. And permanent is never really permanent. Like tatoos, the color fades over time and unless you are willing to get them recolored ever 3 years or so, you could end up looking like, well, Michael Jackson.Permanent Make-up, the good the bad?
quick question did u get them done %26amp; do u like them beause I'm going 2 get them so if u can give me a good advise i would appreciate that. thank you very much Report Abuse

just use a good brow makeup, tatooing them will def. make them look fake and ';drawn on';, because you cant smugde a tattoo!
I have permanent eyeliner (my mom does mine, she is a permanent makeup person) and I love it. Lasts for a few years on me. The price for the eyebrows is the going rate as she charges about the same. You just want to be sure that the person doing yours is accredited and good at the procedure. Ask if he has any photos of the people he has done eyebrows for. The procedure does involve a good bit of time as alot of it is going over the same area repeatedly to be sure that the ink is getting into the skin. You will have to be still for long periods at a time. With me I would just tell my mom I needed to move a little before continuing. Eyebrows are easier than the eyeliner as the area being tattooed is more sensitive. Some people also have tougher skin than others and that sometimes makes the application a little harder to do and a little longer. Just be sure to ask all questions you have before making your decision. But as I said I love having mine done and feel it is worth having them done.
ITS BAD YOUR BABBY CAN COME OUTT WITH BIRTH DIFFETS
That sounds fair but do compare prices and ask for recommendations.....remember that over time tattoos do fade so you will need to have the procedure repeated.
it does sound a little rong it soud only be 100 to 200 i think
Okay - I have permanent eyebrows as well and it's the best thing I've ever done. I paid $375 3 years ago, and my girl charges $500 now.

When you have yours done, make sure they do it by the TAP METHOD...and tattoo individual hairs, not some ugly @ss Pamela Anderson pencil line or Bert and Ernie slash across your forehead. I took my artist two eyebrow pencil colors that I used and she custom mixed the permanent brow color to match what I used.

Since I had been coloring my own brows for so many years, I knew exactly what shape I wanted and what looks good on me. She respected that and did the shape I drew.

They fade slightly after a while and need to be ';filled'; - but still, I get more compliments on my eyebrows than you can imagine and because I do still have brow hair, no one can tell they've been tattooed.
i would first suggest letting your eyebrows grow out as much as possible...meaning, you should leave them along for about a month. Then get them professionally tweezed or waxed.

The negative side to permanent makeup is that it looks 100% unnatural and fake. It fades to a dark blue color. It's hard to match or fill in w/ a powder or pencil. It will look the same forever!

Because this is major, you may want to invest more money into having a natural eyebrow hair transplant. Look into it on line
Im not sure if that price is good or not, but i wouldnt do it anyway. But thats just me. I have seen pics of women with this permanent makeup and all i can ask is, what will it look like in 30 years? What if you dont want your face to look like that when you are older? But like i said, thats just me.
Since its about the same as getting an actual tattoo, the pros and cons are the same. If you get it done and you pay the money for it, what happens if you get up and don't like it? I may not have the most indepth knowledge of permanent make-up but, my tattoos (one is the size of a quarter, the other is about 3 inches and colored) were both under 100 each so to get something done the size of your eyebrows for 375 seems a little much.

If its something you're really looking into, check around and make sure you're getting EXACTLY what you want and at a price that is reasonable- you can't change them once you get them.
the 375 sounds ok i suppose! the tattoo can sometimes look fake well i suppose it is! but i mean they wont be any hair well you know what i mean!!!!!!!!!
i dunno but i definately have heard ppl having bad experience with black color..it turns greenish or sometimes blueish later on..so go for dark brown if u do.good luck!
$375 is a good price. I work at a salon that does perm. makeup and I think she charges a little more than that. She's been doing it for years and is always continuing her education on it though. I have my full lips done and absolutely love it. I'm getting my eyeliner done within a month or two then I'm doing my eyebrows. Just make sure he doesn't use ink. There are certain pigments that are better. Ink can end up changing color after a few years. Good luck to you!!! Oh, the first week everything is darker until it heals. When I had my lips done, they were blood red and freaked me out. After a week they were just a soft pinkish color and perfect.

Your opinion on permanent 'make-up' (tattooed) ?

Some women have they eyeliner, lips etc. enhanced of the color by having permanent make up applied (basically tattooed on) by a professional skilled in the area of make up. Any thoughts ?Your opinion on permanent 'make-up' (tattooed) ?
Personally I would love to get it done. However I have heard that black eyeliner turns bluish after time. Also, if your skin starts to sag, so does your permanant makeup. Eyebrows are the worst, since the forehead does sag with age and you want your brows high. I'd still like to try it, imagine waking up every morning ready to go!Your opinion on permanent 'make-up' (tattooed) ?
I personally had my eyebrows done about 6 years ago. It was the best thing I ever did. I even have a phobia of needles but make sure they are extremely experienced. It actually went very smoothly....

I get touch ups from time to time and they still look fabulous!!

Try it I very much reccomend it!!
I would like to get my eyeliner done but am hesitant to. In middle school I had a friend who's mom did this and one side looked great but the other side the guy actually put a small line going down towards her cheekbone and it looked like she had mascara running! He told her he had a twitch...like that made her feel any better! Als o my husband doesn't want me to do that. He's all for tattoos (we both have a few) but he said that he just doesn't like the idea of my face being tattooed.
I have had my full lips and Eye liner done. The liner was done between my lashes so it was very natural. It has been 5 years and you hardly see it anymore. My lips the color is there, but not strong enough to warrant me to not wear lipstick, and of course here is no gloss. So I wear Cover girl 24 hour lip gloss and color. Expensive, and not long term. I would not do it again.
But can you imagine being like 90 Years old and 'make up on all the time?

    YUKKERS!
that's stupid. You don't want to look the same EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. of your life. that's borringgg..
i wouldn't do it because you can't ever get it off, and you'd have to choose what you get done very carefully. wouldn't that hurt getting it around your eyes, too?
I know people who have done permanent make up and they said it was extremely painful (especially the eyeliner). One of my co-workers just recently got permanent make up done about 3 months ago and it is already fading and becoming discolored. I wouldn't recommend doing it because it's permanent.
I think thats a little weird because you always have a makeup on.... even when you dont want it to be there. But then again, if you normally have no time in your daily routine to put on makeup, I guess it would be a good investment. I would just be careful of the colors/ places you choose because once it's there, it's there forever.
Well, when your old and wrinkled, it will just look like some weird lines and spots in some weird places.
styles and colors change for makeup

    tatoos dont

what looks good on a 20 year old doesnt look right on a 30 y.o.........etc
i know some people who have it done and they are glad they did. i would suggest not getting the eyebrows done because eyebrow styles change and you wouldn't want to be stuck with some crazy out of date style. my hairdresser has her lips done, so all she has to do is put on lip gloss it looks good. i think she has her eye liner done too but i rarely wear eyeliner and i only wear makeup half of the time. so walking around with just eye liner on would look silly for me.
I wouldn't want it, coz then it would be hard if you wanted to change your style...
yuck. i think it looks GHETTO
I understand why some people might be attracted to that because it would make things more simple and you always have your ';face on';....but when I look at old pictures of me I have changed the way I put on make up. I don't use lip liner anymore...and I barely wear eye liner...probably because make-up has become much more natural.

Tatooes are permanent. Think long and hard before doing it.
Fashion trends change so often, I think it's a bad idea. Who knows what the look will be a few years from now. I think its a waste of money.
I know a couple of girls who have permanent eye liner, but I could never trust anyone enough to allow themm to have a needle that close to my eye. I can understand it for burn victims and cancer patients, but other than that I think it's rather pointless.
    never heard of it

I lost my eyebrow after permanent make up why?

it many be a skin reaction

Any one ever get permanent make up?

No, I haven't, but personally I wouldn't want to anyways. Sometimes you just want to look natural you know.Any one ever get permanent make up?
my mom and grandmother have.... eyeliner and lips for mom, and gma got lips and brows.

got a question about it? i can help.Any one ever get permanent make up?
A couple of my friends have. Both had permanent eyebrows and one also had permanent eyeliner. They both said that the eyebrows hurt a lot but the woman who got the eye liner said that she would never ever have done that if she knew how bad it felt. Once she got one done, she didn't want to do the other but had to do it anyways since she would look funny.
I've always wondered what happens when women with permanent makeup age. It must look all nasty to have the permanent makeup on the skin that gets droopier and droopier - and does the makeup droop with the skin??
My sisters friend (or mom, not sure) got eyeliner tattooed

Has anyone had plastic surgery (liposuction, breast enlargement or lip augmentation) or permanent make up?

How does it feel, are you happy with it, anything else?Has anyone had plastic surgery (liposuction, breast enlargement or lip augmentation) or permanent make up?
    no

    i like my body

    Tell me about permanent make-up?

I've been wanting to check out the field of permanent make-up or cosmetics. Can anyone tell me about it? I've heard that you can make some really good money doing that.Tell me about permanent make-up?
it's a tattoo done in a medical office

my mom lost her eyebrows after cancer treatment and they never came back. she had her eyebrows done. you have to know how to match up colors, be a very skilled tattoo artist and be trained in sanitary techniques

i never liked the way it looked for eyelier or lips and hear it's pretty painful. i don't think that it's a really booming business right nowTell me about permanent make-up?
Well, all I really know about permanent makeup is eyeliner. My mom has it, and it's kind of like a black tatoo around your eyes, but it really just looks like eyeliner. She's had for quite a long time. She told me it was black, but turned blue as the years went by. I think my mom regrets doing it because she's always putting eyeliner on top of it.
I know a few people that have it.. But its more like tattooing.

It is a very light color.

My boyfriends grandma has her lipstick done, and it is a very light pink. She still wears some over it.

Also, My friends mom has her eyeliner done. And really when she gets out of the shower she still puts eyeliner on.

I have seen pictures of women doing their eyebrows and I suppose because that is on a different part and not such a sensitive part it shows up darker.

But I think in the end its easier to put a little on, rather then a whole bunch of it on. I personally think its kind of a smart but painful thing.

    eyeliner and lip liner thoses

are the ones i know of
tattooing is what that is. answer mine pleasee?? thanks :-) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
Yes, you can do some money but U gotta do school of permanent make-up, it's not so difficult to find.
    I think it's basically tattooing
    It's tattooing your skin.

I strongly suggest against this; styles change - tattoos don't.
You tattoo faces. That's pretty much it and I've never heard of too many people getting it done.
