Male Eye Make-Up Tips?

Well i'm A Guy and i guess you could call me an Emo, (and i know some people are gonna call me a *** or something but whatever) but i wondered if anyone had any tips for puttin eyeshadow/eye liner on maybe a video or something, i've tried it a few times and even my girlfriends tried it for me but i just end up looking like a drag queeen or its uneven and rubbishy. I just want the sort of shadowy eye look nothing to bold.........Kind of like Jared Leto http://www.sodahead.com/blog/116229/jare鈥?/a>

This is your style, be proud about it because there is nothing wrong with picking your own style!

Jared Leto's look is very simple.

Find a black eyeliner with a smudger on the end, so you don't have to purchase a separate smugder brush. Drugstore brands have plenty of great eye liners. I like Loreal particularly because they are quite pigmented, especially the HIP line. Simply line the top and bottom lashlines thickly and use the smudger to smudge. For the top, smudge upwards, for the bottom, smudge downwards. Smudge the liner until you are satisfied with the look. For staying power, put a bit of matte black eyeshadow on top of the liner. Then you can just simply line your inner eye rim (waterline) and upper eye rim (tightline).

This will give you those hot Jared Leto Bedroom eyes! Hope this helps and good luck!Male Eye Make-Up Tips?
Try an eye pencil that's waterproof, so it won't smudge. I recommend Urban Decay 24/7 eye liner in Zero. If you want something inexpensive then try Almay Amazing Lasting 16 hour in Precise Black. Rim your eyes all around (it looks like that's what Jared Leto did). Appply it on your upper lash line and bottom lash line. Smudge it with a pencil brush or a q-tip. Only smudge the edges (so some colour remains). Smudge the edges so that it fades away and the edges don't look harsh. If it's uneven clean up the mess with a clean q-tip.

If you find that even waterproof eye liner is not working, then put a black eyeshadow on top of the eyeliner to set it (so it won't move).
Maybe instead of eyeshadow, just wear black eyeliner. Put it all around your eyes heavily, then smudge it out. I love looking like a crack whore.
