Anyway, I was wondering if the MAC people were got any benefit or money, or was the bridal party just taking advantage of them? I thought it was bad business, because no one bought anything. The party was just gabbing about the wedding and gossiping about people and getting what seemed to be free makeup service.
The MAC people seemed pretty tolerant, but I do not think anyone else there was too happy about the situations. It was rather disruptive.
So, does anyone know what the benefit of that could have been gained from giving away free make-up to people who show up and demand it?Do MAC people get paid when they do make-up for bridal parties in the Mall.?
Last year I had gotten my make up done at MAC for my prom and I thought that you just sat down and they did it all for free. Actually, if it's for a special event such as prom or weddings you have to make an appointment. And you pay about $80, but you're able to buy things with that.
So, for example the day I made my appointment I spent $50 and that was used as credit, so when I came back a few weeks later I bought aobut $30 worth of more stuff and that took care of the bill ---Although I really didn't need $80 worth of make up...
It does get really hectic, I know that even with my appointment I still waited about 20 minutes because there were a few girls in front of me and there were only about 5 make-up artists and for those who were trying to purchase items really couldn't because everybody was occupied. But I was really happy with my make up that night.
Hope that answered your question.
